Well it appears I have been banned from the SWG forums. Apparently someone must not have responded well to me calling Blix an A**hole.

Oh well. My ban is for repeated personal attacks. I guess I deserve it, but I STAND by my comment :)

Hey I call em like I see em. GU5 was a good update.

But whenever these clowns try to "balance" professions they make it worse. Blix posted that he thought the professions "meshed" well.

Funny how he only ever seems to test versus NS npcs and heroics.

I do not believe any profession revamp can be done justice in the ridiculous 3-4 week time period the alot themselves...

Jedi --- DS jedi have become a force to be reckoned with, while LS have become the red headed stepchild

Medic-- area heals still broken

Officer --- they tried to nerf them, but the officers rallied and stopped it (good on em I say)

Spy--- OMG I do not know where to start --- they were told --- sorry no major expertise changes in these updates --- but what they meant to say was --none for YOU

Smuggler --- completely screwed over at first--- then got some love, but how long before the overeact and over-nerf the new pistol whip?

BH --- ambush nerfed because NS died to quickly. When this did not go over well, Blix said he wanted longer fights--- funny 3 weeks earlier he implemented armor bypass attacks and nerfed block at the same time he nerfed ambush...

Commando --- got much needed love. But LS jedi cannot really fight them well --- DS complaining because no DOT heal ... I would bet hard cash that instead of working on the jedi -- they will adjust commando.

BM --- Blix said that he just did not agree with thier top five issues... Makes sense, I mean he plays it way more than they do ... oh wait a minute

Finally he referred to expertise points as "talent" points.

I do not want to sound like I think these guys have done nothing good. I feel the greater variety allowed in GU5 weapons is real progress. They need to keep working on content and customization.

They just need to right profession balance off as a loss and leave it the hell alone. And do not make assertions you think they all "mesh" well.

That's one of the big problems with SWG, pistol whip isn't new. It was in game during the CU. Everything they took out they like to call new when they reintroduce it but it really isn't, it's just SOE backpeddling.
 

Wait SWG is still making updates to the game?  I didn't even know it still exsisted.  lol 

Well you should be banned from this forume too for still participating in SWG in it's current state.  Honestly, their updates seem like they are grasping at straws to keep some subs until they officially have to let the game go.

So at first you did not know they are making updates to the game, then you pronounce that the updates that you said you knew nothing about are "grasping at straws"?
