HI all, I'm sure that quite a few of you already know about Spore,(link below if you haven't) so I won't be talking about or trying to review the game, I want to talk and ask about the Spore Creature Creator program itself, first off I just want to say that the program when it works, is a great deal of fun, when it works, is it just me or is the Spore CC buggy? Ok it's like this, far as I can tell my system is up to date and all the requirements are matched for the program to run, but for some reason it will run till you decide to exit the game, then it won't work again, unless you not just restart the pc, but turn it off first and then restart the pc or re-install it, I've sent emails off to the support page with my pc details and I'm still awaiting a reply, I've searched the support pages and Faq section, but they don't say much at all, so I was just wondering, does anyone else using this program have this problem with it? Thank's for any info! |

Not a single problem with it here. I only use the free version at the moment (not paying till I see the FULL game). Not seen any bugs or even hiccups here. |

Spore may not quallify as an MMO on the multiplayer part (not sure it has realtime multiplayer interaction), but there is sure going to be a LOT of players all interacting with each others content. |

1st of all, it's not about the game but a problem a member is having and asking other members who also use the same program about, I'm pretty sure I stated that, if you had read the post you would have worked that out. 2nd, so what if it's a single player game or even a creator program for a game, it would not be the first time the members of this site have discussed a single player game of any sort, also if you would have followed the link to the site and read up on the game you would indeed find that they say it's a singleplayer game, but if you were to read further you would find that Spore when it's released has a lot in common with mmo games,( shared self created characters and self created worlds and the ability to interacts with shared characters and worlds, in 3d no less!) 3rd, If you have no interest in Spore or in the Spore character creator and your not mmorpg.com staff, what are you doing posting here telling me that you think this thread don't belong, if I'm in the wrong the staff will contact me and let me know, but it's not your job, so I suggest you nossy on off some where else and try and boss people around there, because if you try it here again I will report you for being off topic and trying to hijack this thread. |

I think I sort the problem out with the Spore CC program, when you start the game you must make sure that you are not logged into the website, although the game is a single player game it still connects to a server,(so you can up load your creation to the Spore website) so if your logged in on the website the game won't start until you log out on the site, that's my theory so far anyway and it seems to be working. thanks again for any info! :) |
