Vanguard: Saga of Heroes

I ve recieved an e-mail from vanguard that all old accounts will be reactivated from 18 th september till 18 october for free.

Since i aint playing anything now i thought to say yes and try check how vanguard is nowdays after all these patches corrections e.t.c.

Problem: Every time i run vanguard i see create newe account  / use existing account ... i choose ofc use existing acount clicking , i put username password and WTF SURPRISE ...

YOU DO NOT HAVE A VANGUARD SUBSCRIPTION....

i thought that since they say to ppl that all old acounts like mine are re-activated i should be ready login and try vanguard..

Problem is that inside my edit account /subscription there is NO OPTION LIKE CLICK HERE FOR THE FREE ACCOUNT RENEW BUTTON..

pls if anyone can help me answer cause im quite furious with sony

I got the same email, so I re-installed and I can login as if I have an active account. Email their customer support.

It has to have been inactive for a least 60 days.

Other then that, are you using the right account maybe? You don't have to do anything to activate it, it should be active with a counter on the tab with the amount of days left on the launcher.

 (I did NOT recieve an email, I read about this on massively.com and checked my account)

I have the same problem. Cant log in the game.

Mine is inactive since june 3rd (I check payment history) and its not working either. I tried email support and I'm waiting they get back to me about this.

My sub still shows closed and i didnt receive an email. Might just be select accounts for the offer or some other "qualifications".

I actually forgot this game was still live before the email.  I can not believe it is still running.  Who the heck is playing this piece of trash?

Eh, I re-installed and gave it another chance last time they sent me one of those emails and low and behold it's still a bug fest. From what I could see it has improved quite a bit, but if they are gonna invite me back to see how much they've fixed then they outta at least make sure the starter quests are ready to go. Kinda hard to give it another chance when right off the bat I'm still seeing problems.

I just started and I find it a nice break from DDO and TR, my last two MMOs, though neither really qualifies as they are not massive in anyway. I am enjoying the huge world VG has to offer and the multitude of things to do that do not always involve just killing things. Sure it has the basic Fedex quests, but it also has some really amazing areas to go do them in.

I had the same issue, contacted their support using the live chat system and the guy there solved it within 5 minutes. It all took 15 minutes.
