Hey I just got banned after trading a friend of mine 3500 gold for his flying mount mount skill.

Permanent banned and I called them, but it was appearently him who "bought" gold for real money. I have never bought gold or anything and trading gold between our accounts has never been a problem. So I can't understand why I recieved a ban, and he gets away without even a warning?

Could this have been their automatic ban-system and do they have the rights to ban without any prior warning about the activity?

Damn weird lol. I wish I could say something to help but I doubt what to do. In you situation I'll do 2 things:

1- Call and call and call blizzard until you get your problem solved. If you are sure you made nothing bad you may be able to prove it.

2- Buy another mmorpg and give my money to any other company.

Of course I'll cacht my friend and say him: See what happens when you buy gold? You F*** innocent players.

That sucks. Call them up and in clear English ask if you sound like a gold seller.

I yust resently to banned for using, well thay said i use a third party software. which i didnt. But erlier thta week i gave my friend about 500 gold for no real game reason. i did nothing wrong, it says nothing on rules i cant give friends gold. i dint use a party software. :S and im permamently banned, any tips??

 They could have a system in place that puts you on auto suspension if a certain amount of gold is being traded. It probably notifys someone who will look into the matter. The best you can do is email or call them and let them sort it out. But if you purchased the gold, or got it from someone who did purchase it, your going to be SOL. 

Want to state this to you tho, creating this in the forums is not the right way to handle a situation like this. You will get flamed, harrased and possibly banned. This is information no one here can help you with. Always take these actions straight to the horse's mouth, which would be Blizzard. And if it comes down to it, say you lost your account and purchase a key from them for 5$. I've already got two, and Ive never purchased a gamebox ever. 5 > 50!

kinda funny that someone would NEED the gold to get the skill, most people have a sort of overabundance...i mean unless they are total newbies.

Blizzard screws up sometimes, and I guess it's forgivable. I just wanted to say after 4 hours long calls I came to a nice girl who just unbanned my account :-)

You got lucky there mate, When you play WoW you have accepted that Blizzard owns everything, you own nothing cept your username and password, they can ban you just for the fun of it, and theres not a damn thing you can do about it, ofcourse they will in most cases listen to the players, so they dont lose all their customers, but when you checked that little box on character creation you agreed they own your ass! and can do whatever they freaking want with your account.

just thought i'd let you know... :P
