I know you are talking about "world of warcraft" and not "warcraft", but try keeping them apart. ;P

A friend of mine got rather nostalgic the other day and started playing an old MMORPG that we used to play, it's called "Dransik" and has a pvp that looks alot like the one in Runescape, where you loose your items if you die.

The graphics are really "old school" but the gameplay is awesome and the game f2p, just something to look into while waiting for Darkfall.

Edit: It might be a bit old for some ppls taste, and the number of players is probably low, on the other hand it doesnt take long to install it, like 5 sec

In your situation i'd go with EvE all the way, and it seems like you haven't tried it (or I cant find it in your "little" list there) so why not give it a shot?

There is no way in hell that spore would be vaporware, its created by Will Wright and Maxis the ones that brought you "The Sims".

I remember Ragnarok Online having a pretty realistic loot system, for example there were these jelly balls that jumped around and sucked up all loot that ppl had left behind.

But then again im sure that they had some giant bird that could drop a dagger or an axe. :C
