Obvious troll. Reason: (a) You dont know how the TCG works. (b) Speculation and undisclosed sources. (c) ALL SWG players get FIVE Booster Packs FREE each month with 15 cards each = 75 cards for FREE each month - which can (and do) include rares and foils and in-game vehicles and loots. Yes FREE. (d) No one needs to spend a penny on more cards unless they WISH to purchase MORE booster packs (no reason to). |

Job = as in Profession? ie crafting? If so, then try Star Wars Galaxies as a crafter - you can tweak pretty much anything. However, sandbox type MMOs (SWG, EVE, Entropia) will actually let YOU define that role yourself as well. For instance - in EVE atm I am working for X_corp as a hired gun assassin and muscle - but under a different Y_corp flag |

When I am "on the run" I sometimes run EVE on my laptop: 1.7GHz dual core. 1GB RAM. No graphics card (integrated onboard nonsense). And EVE *mostly* ran fine for over 6 months - but the last 2 patches has a lot of crashes for me these days. Be aware that most laptops do NOT come with a graphics card - so please shop around.

Best free game with ample crafting would be Voyage Century Online. Quite fun and relaxing. |

Don't forget, Tabula Rasa = Sir Richard "Lord British" Garriott. Also remember that his BROTHER was leading NCSoft at the time. |

* Tinker with solo farming builds. * Solo 1v1 against ANY profession builds (tricky). * Create unique hero builds for hero battles. * Go have a boxing match in GW:EN with elite brass knuckles. * Try to run Droknars from Beacons. |

Greets. Positive news for Project V13 (Fallout MMO): www.Interplay.com is now fully functional. And chatter for Project V(ault)13 is all over their boards now. Also Chris Taylor is back on the team. (There is a certain Fallout admin Chris posting and replying on their forums as well - not sure if its the same Chris.) |

I keep coming back to DDO a lot. It reminds me of the C= days with D&D and AD&D (Krynn) days. |

Perhaps MMORPG.com should SHOW use further details via graphs/bar charts of the following: * Total number of ratings: 55,992 * Ratings @1: [][][][][][][][][] (13,061) * Ratings @2: [][][][][][] (4,772) * Ratings @3: [][][][][][][][][][][] (18,992) .... all the way to: * Ratings @10: [][][] (1,337) This would be ALSO be visible for EACH category (when clicked upon) like Sound, Grpahics, etc. so we can see totals for each category. Similarly other relevant facts could show us actual numbers. This will help us show everyone that nothing is biased nor skewed towards a certain rating. Full disclosure and transparency will remove all slanderous accusations from MMORPG.com and even open up for future businesses to learn to trust MMORPG.com an unbiased and INDEPENDENT observer. |

Proper exploration in a MMO environment is found in (Project) Entropia Universe. Even though it is "free" to play - you WILL need cash to actually get anywhere. Bit of a disguised casino environment. |

UK isnt on the list - and only a 2 day beta?! Not worth the download for the lack of time to even test the damn thing. Looks merely like a formality, publicity stunt, or a stress test "open" beta to me. |

Assuming independent developers using the cheaper route with few users - until success hits and 1000,000 people start demanding your game... what path of databases would you recommend in terms of easy scalability and compatibility of data? (ie effortless upgrade) And what would be the costs associated along the way? |
