I had alot of hope for HUxley, but now I can pretty wipe my hands clean of buying HUXLEY. I've recently read up that HUXLEY (WEBZEN) is utilizing MASSIVE (the notorious POS company who infects our games with ads) to employ ads into the game. this seems to be the new evil amognst the peaceful my friends.

I dont know about you, but I dont believe in having in game ads streaming to my game showing me stuff I dont want to buy, nor I can care about. Hell even if I liked the product, I dont want it in my game ruining my immersion. If i wanted realism Id play the game called LIFE lol.

I personally dont mind a ad or vending machine or some product hardcoded into the game as part of the environment. but for me where ads are dynamic, always changing, and just up there in your face,

I find them intrusive, invasive and plain out "BUY ME BUY ME! SPEND YOUR MONEY!!! YOU NEED ME TO EXIST!"i find it plain out rude, not to mention just like EA( what i would love to do to them and a nail studded aliuminum bat) the customers (US!!!) havent seen any drops in price, savings of any kind! all that money goes to the company, and we get buggy, horribly developed games that leave something to be desired.

Its evident this is an ongoing trend and someone or some people need to take a hose to MASSIVE and wash them down the drain like the dirty roaches they are. I absolutely despise them,its getting to a point I am soon not going to be able to buy any games without being bombarded by dynamic streaming ads in my games without the decency of a reacharound. I Wont be buying this game or any game that has streaming ads. then again thats just me.

O.M.G. maaaan you rly need professional help if you get affected by such a secondary part in a game LOL

only thing i say to this thread/post is

both games PvP isnt refreshing nor even a bit good,both games
have just half-assed PvP to be serious,if you ever played DAoC you will
understand me instantly

but the diffrence in WoW and RF is

RF is based on PvP and sucks at it
WoW is based on PvM(lvling items etc) and does it not really bad
while the PvP sucks

RF sux at PvP and PvM
and WoW sux at PvP only

that means WoW is better ^^
(i m neutral to RF but i hate WoW so dont call me a fanboy *sigh*)

but to be serious,RF is really a bunch of half-assed p00
while WoW just annyoing is

i dont have any infos about that game atm

if its really f2p ill play this game for sure i think

or maybe look at it again after the open beta

hmmm,seems like i should explain you what "RPG" means

playing a role is not only talking like:greetings stranger,whats your name sir,
and stuff like that you know.

"RP" means much more,for example customizing your style,your cloths,your looking,your alligment
and such things.

it means you play another person than yourself wich is maybe compareable to you
in its character and its style,you understand ?

RPG's let you mot play customize able Character's(Roles) just as fury does

i dont know ryl much but i played the beta and it was not even similar to shadowbane
from the looking,i saw shadowbane pics and it was looking like a 2d game and there was no pvp and stuff i think

and its hard to judge about it if you saw the ultra fast fighting system

those are upcomming MMO's. Archlord has already been released for a few months in korea. Daoc doesn't have better graphics then this, you might want to consider to buy glasses. Everquest 2 has better graphics, but only top computers can run it. and the artwork is simply horrible.

2.i dont know alot about graphics ? ever checked out ign or ugo ? you would know what next gen graphic engines do and already realsed games have even much better graphics so better check out some games or play oblivion

hl2 ran with bests graphics on my old machine with 1800+ ghz ati 9600xt 512ram
(you dont need to know more nerd i m not a pc freak)
i had 21-24 fps... i would say its a matter about "how" its done,thats coz i m talking bout next gen engines
if the engine is well done good coded and not such a 10k$ poor piece of shit it would run fine with ultra nice graphics,a 10h coded engine with oblivion grahpics wont run well thats for sure

best exemple "huxley closed beta" i think the graphics can mess with oblivion or other titles
and its a ultra big world with millions of npc's and other players

and i never said a mmo should have the elder scrolls IV engine thats weird huh?...

whatever its a waste of time to talk to you my young friends

this game will be 100% a 10$ dollar p/month game *sigh*

sure grahpics isnt everything but lets be serious we re in the year 2k6 and in a half year in 2k7 there will be realeses like gothic3 ut2k7 hellgate prey and such things and those can manage a big world with nice graphics best example elder scrolls 4 oblivion and even the very old game farcry
