This guy seems nice. He does, but you cannot change core mechanics in a game. Not with success anyway. He might polish the rough edges, but there's still that whole instancing issue..

As much as I like Blizzard; they've always been copying things from Games Workshop and the Warhammer lore. No big surprise. So, yes, they are copying stuff directly from WAR.

That any western developer, especially a big budget company like Funcom, should be able to present us something else than a frickin' mindless grindage festival. Oh btw, even when there's too few quests to have something to do in certain levels.. Rappelz actually managed to at least give me quests all  the time.

Yes AmazingAvery, we all know it's very hard to defend yourself when you were one of the really early-planners who was dubiously fooled and tricked by Funcom and their marketing department.  The game is a brilliant failure, and you who boasted and cheered on these forums for Age of Conan to be so great, well.. you're looking like quite a fool now.

 And its' quite shallow when you're trying to defend your position as a incredible amount of AoC-fanboyism.

You're an idiot. Yes, you are.  The people who reviewed it, released their review the same day as the box hit the shelves.

How the hell can you review a MMO in one day? (or 6 days if they played earlier!) I've seen very few, good reviews that came weeks later.

Edit: I was suppose to quote this to a person on page 2 in this topic, stating that the reviews gave the game good reviews, and those should be trusted the most.

I read through the whole thing(yeah, not all the time I do that) and your story saddens me, truly.

It is developing to become a great game, but you only get one chance to really impress, and Sigil/SOE blew that.

Where the **** have you been since the game has been released? Funcom has done nothing, besides banning exploiters, releasing new patches that has fixed a lot. That they even added a performance increase in Lacheish Plains and Noble District in Tarantia means they even did that, along with fixing bugs.

Funcom has done nothing but supporting their playerbase so far, this is great.  You sir, should come to Skøyen in Oslo and see what Funcom are doing at this moment.

The game sells better in some regions, while in others it does not. In Germany, I have heard the game is completely sold out. In most places of Norway, too.  To expect all the copies to be sold all around where they published it is a stupid, stupid idea. Did WoW get sold EVERY single place it was published? I honestly don't think so.

Age of Conan is a success, most people who put their shares into Funcom doesn't know crap about  MMO's in general, except that they sell very big. Most in the stock market see a lot of potential in the MMO business. They invest for the money only, not for their knowledge of MMO's.. They truly believed Age of Conan will get sold-out in every bloody tard area, all around Europe and America, EVERY single store. It was not, so they get scared. Age of Conan is rising, Aquilonia is disconnecting me more and more every day. It's only one server, but heck - the population is rising.  Which is naturally a good thing.

Wow, amazing story. This really made me think of re-opening my sub on Vanguard..

When you pay for something, you are signing a contract beetween you and the seller. Funcom this time being the seller, has broken the contract and is right to be blamed.

This is the worst launch ever.(Note: Vangurad doesn't count, that wasn't even a launch!)
