WoW!! I am very impressed to see some decent posts on these forums for once. Sometimes it takes you leaving to try other things just to be reminded, Hey, WoW isnt a bad game at all its definately one of the best of all time.. period.

I beta tested it but thats about as far as I am going with the game, cancelled my pre-orders a while back.

I am just going to wait for Wotlk which is really looking good in my opinion.

In WAR, you go into first-person-shooter mode when controlling siege weapons.

Firebrawn its apparent your in love with War, so why waste your time posting about WoW? Trust me War is far from the game your making it out to be, I think you would be better off playing it for a while before you keep trying to sell it as being so wonderful.

Sorry took a bit to reply but at work so do not always get to mess around on the forums. We are on alliance side, as far as contact name that can be tough as the toons I am on the most have special marks above letters.

If your interested you can PM me here your character name and I will watch for you in game or I can PM you the instructions on how to get the special letters in my name in game. Whatever is easier for you just let me know.

As a side note anyone in the <PAIN> guild have invite rights so that is another option there if you see any members running around.

Just wanted to update this thread.

I have decided over the weekend to get into a constant recruitment routine to try and get us a good player base for the upcomming expansion. We are currently up to 33 members of all levels, 10 of which are lvl 70. When we get a chance to run instances we do so and I also have some long time friends in game that also come to me for fill ins when they are raiding Kara. These friends will also help us out if we are in need of a couple more to run an instance.

We have a good group of players right now and would love to get as many more as possible as this just adds to the enjoyment of the game. All levels are welcome to join, we are all here to have fun and thats all that matters.

Alliance side

When I moved my guild from swg to WoW I made sure everyone knew what our plans were then got a general idea of how many people were interested in the move and I got their email addresses.

Once I got my character set up in WoW I sent out an email to all of the people who were interested and let them know what server in WoW I was on and what my character name was so this allowed them to look for me in game to get the guild set up.

I also stayed in SWG for another month to make sure that the people left in the guild knew we had moved over to WoW and gave them the info as well in case they decided to join us later. If you have a guild website it would be a good idea to put this info on there as well.

Well I will say it is going to come down to personal preference plain and simple. War will be hot at first but I dont think it will stay that way. I played it as a beta tester and all I can say is I cancelled my pre-orders and have decided to stay with WoW for many reasons.

My opinions are my own and I wont sit here bitching and moaning like so many others when they dont like a game. If you think you will like it give it a try and make the decision yourself but for me my decision is made and it wont be in War.

Will definately be checking this game out on release, was hoping it would of made it for the end of this year but unfortunately that didnt happen. The game looks really good now from what I have been hearing and not releasing until next year sometime will only make it better.

Nice pic of the pet tree, was interested to see what they were going to look like and how they were going to work. Nice video, glad to see they are allowing some new pets.

Nah I just keep them short anymore, get tired of all the bashers always looking for something to whine about. I used to enjoy the boards but lately I find myself not even wanting to look at them.

please keep in mind they did this for the mechanic also,

not just because "we have to meet a deadline"

so they say.. just because a game took less time to make does not mean they (Devs) are any better then what other companies have. There are reasons things happen, unfortunately thats about all I can say

Eventually WoW will lose subscribers every game does but the difference is if you look at games out there running on 200k subs then it will be a very looooooooong time before Wow gets to this point. Unless of course this incredible game comes out that just knocks the socks off of people, which I do not see anytime soon or Blizzard releases a new MMO.

Even with a new MMO from Blizzard doesnt mean a loss for WoW, especially if they implement something like SOE station pass.
