Well im already 4,5 hours at step 3 and still getting error 414 :S

2 friends of me got their keys yesterday and I still didn't get it!

I pre-ordered at EAstore and guess what, they didn't send a open beta key. I still got a key from the give aways, but it still doesn't make sense. The company who owns the game is the worst with spreading beta keys? nice joke.

Next day at work I Downloaded the downloader and started it.  two hours later I have a 8.8gb download on my machine ready for trasport home :).

Lol? i downloaden the client from www.war-europe.com and it is 8.4 GB isn't that the open beta client?

EDIT: Nvm, i just checked it is 9.33 GB after installing

Edit: Direct2Drive.com gives open beta key too, but I don't know if you are european?

At the bottem of your screen, between your hotkeys. I saw it too like few months ago, but didn't see it on the newer vids

guild wars is not an mmorpg imo :)

its just a fanatsy based pvp game like tf2 or cs:s :)

Well WAR is a fantasy based pvp game too xD, but ok you have a point there :P

You're essentially trading a faster core clock speed on the 8800GT for more stream processing lines on the HD4850. While the extra processing streams are preferable over the faster core speed, in the States, the HD4850 costs about $15 more than the 8800GT. Go play GuildWars then you see what quick leveling is, I got my character max level in less than 10 hours. A friend of me had it in 2,5 hours of powerleveling. Well I like to level quick to the maximum so everybody is equal in PvP

Why do most people still think the 8800GT has the best quality/price ratio. An HD4850 is much better than a 8800GT and only for 130 euro here (Not much imo, but dunno how much you have to spend).

Well my friend just bought a very good computer for a nice price get something like this

# Sapphire Radeon HD4850,512MB, GDDR3, PCI Express x16

# AMD Athlon 64 X2, 5400+, Socket AM2, Boxed

# 4GB memory

And you can run all on max

 EDIT: If you are going to buy that graphic card, get an extra cooler, because he gets really hot. It's is a very good graphic card tho.

<Mod edit>  He's in a low light setting with light coming from behind him.  You aren't supposed to see detail on character in that situation.  At least blizzard has a clue about real lighting.  War art is just there without any consideration at all to shading and light source.

Iam afraid that EA is going to screw the first days of our beta or even cancelling our order just before the start of the game =/ :

Tried to order the game: I correctly entered all my information and received a "confirmation email"...

1 hour later I received a mail,telling me that my order was cancelled, although I entered all information correctly...

1 week ago I tried it again (same information-damn I should have give a shot at d2d) and received another confirmation email...Now Iam waiting for another "your order has been cancelled" or the keys..

EA Shop sucks!

explains their download system..you install EA download manager, log into the manager and your download should be waiting for you. at the moment it is not available.
