Originally posted by OriginalForm2 years old is very old for computers. In 1 year it went from dual-core to quad core. Then even the move from SLI to dual PCBs etc. It might also be a very simple thing to fix which I know how to fix. Use Vsync instead which you set in your nVidia/ATI control panel. But again we need hardware specs. Until you post them and want real help I think your just trolling. |

YOU DID NOT PAY $5 FOR EARLY ACCESS. YOU PAID $5 FOR EXTRA 10 DAYS PLAYED IDIOTS. Stop whining if you did not think this would happen. They did a superb job so far as only delaying it 4 hours...DEAR GOD ITS THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT! |

Despite anything anyone says, do not overclock without reading a guide first or have a proper understanding of hardware voltages and clock speeds and understand the limits your hardware has. If you MUST, read a guide and pull up professional overclocks of the current hardware you have to try to copy those results but do this slowly and run a stresstest for stability. Be careful of your FSB and RAM because increasing 1 thing might increase the other if the motherboard has a locked/fixed CPU:RAM ratio. |

Do NOT overclock if you do not know anything about computer hardware or have the proper software to monitor, stress test for stability, and temps. Also NEVER overclock on stock cooling. |

Just so everyone knows.. AA isn't worth the FPS hit when running 1024x768 resolutions because you will have hardly any notice of it. 1280x1024 might be the same result depending on monitor. AA should only be used at high res 1680x1080 and up. |

Base my graphics around OpenGL so I wasn't chained to this POS OS thats going to get phased out by Windows 7 and make every DX10 videocard obsolete. |

I understand. But from my experience with Crysis and BioShock, Its almost impossible to notice because you just end up forgetting about them. AoC might bring proper DX10 quality to the table but so far, no DX10 game has. |

17 or not lol. I've done my research and I've learned how to make DX9 look like 10, even though they are completely separate. Look at the links I posted and you'll see for yourself. |

Tell you both what, I'll modify the DX9 config files in AoC and send them to you so you will have DX10 on DX9? I'm not sure how FunCom would like that though and I might not want to try it just in case:/ |

"Yep, DX10 looks far better imo." Mortemia, could you be bothered to read a sentence? Its called all you have to do is mod a text file which enables such effects in DX9. DX10 is just a gimmick. Until I play a game (possibly even AoC) that has DX10 far superior to the point were I can't mod DX9 to look like DX10 then I put mustard in my eye. Deal? |

Now if you could understand, not STANDARD DX9. You mod a couple .txt files within Crysis folder and bam, you have dx10 quality. |
