What everyone neglects to read is: $5 is for 10 days play time, AND Early Access, and Early Access Download. 30/3 = 10. 15/3 = 5. People are morons and gave the Early Access download link to everyone, even the non early access and griefers that wants to spit on AoC. This is not Funcoms fault... It is the communities.

Oh and if anyone bothered to read AoC Announcements they said that the Early Access was LIMITED.

You are giving 2 very stupid options. Yes you can have FFA PvP. No you will not be attacked on sight after exiting town, but maybe if greifers are around.

Oh and if you can't escape them then use the "shift" key. If you are running and not attacking them back with combos then you should have more stamina and thus, out run them. Go play PVE if you don't like the thought of murderers and such, I know I want to start a band of murderers that will hunt down guilds and people for money, and I know there will be guilds that hunt us down for free or even for money.

XP will have a noticeable boost in performance vs Vista on almost all system. I can see a avverage of 5 FPS difference when I play on Vista. I normally get 43 average in cities on XP and with Vista I can see a drop down to 35 sometimes but averaging about 4-5. Now when you are running a game at such FPS, 4-5 is a lot

If I'm reading this correctly... Yes there is a Cinematic at the beginning. As for the rest of the game I believe there will be cinematics here and there for special quests maybe. Not 100% sure though.

I don't understand how people are lagging.. I'm running everything on high except i reduced view distance because it had higher chance of memory leak.

single 8800GT WILL run this game on high, in a city with high settings at a respectable 35fps +

Pre-order was for Mammoth or Rhino mounts. Problems do occur if people would smart enough to understand the stress involved in such things as Funcom. If you did not get charged the $5 for early access, then what is the problem? You were not charged, you do not get in. You pre-ordered for the mount.. If not then thats your fault. Can't blame Funcom for everything.

Also I pre-ordered, registered my 3 day early access, and downloaded the client all during peak hours without a hitch. Cancel the Early Access if your ISP is crap and I would also blame the community for it because they spread the download to people that did not pre-order and did not pay for Early Access.

The pre-order Mammoth and Rhino has special skins and supposably bigger.

I do not believe your computer is new. 3gb of old RAM wont help either in some cases.

Tibbz also has a point here. Value or Select RAM is horrible but should still do the trick if your cheaping out. I'll say 1 thing as Corsair XMS is not what it used to be when they first started making them. Get a 4GB 2x2gb of Mushkin HP2 5-4-4-12 800mhz and you shouldn't have much trouble with any game.

Also AoC OB pre-patch had a lot of memory leaks leading to 1-2gb pagefiles and while the OB post-patch fixed 90% of issues, the memory leak still happened to a very small amount of people.

Doesn't mean anything. Large number of factors play in how something runs. I know for a fact the E6850 dances circles around the 5400+ and almost doubles performance. I myself use the E8400 and 8800GT 512 and get a nice FPS of 45-50 in cities, while using a card with less shader pipes.

Intel is many steps ahead of AMD and is by no means a problem. Buying AMD though is a problem if you want performance.

I can see a few problems here.

1. You have tons of spyware which is using a lot of your HD cache, but that would just effect load times.

2. You are lying about your system specs.

3. You have no idea how a computer works and have probably changed something you shouldn't have in nVidia control panel.

4. Its just you and a very select few people who have this problem which could be from problems 1-3.

E8400. Does much better in gaming and even in some apps.
