I agree.  I wouldn't want people keeping their beta characters.  Beta is for testing things out not for building your character.

Anyone reading this, just go buy the CE yourself and save the money and grief that you would go through with Ebay and this OP.  He probably already entered his beta code and therefore won't be able to give you that anyone, as it would be a duplicate.  There are still copies of the CE left.

Um..it's only beta.  I don't see the problem.  What, are you trying to blast through all the levels in less than a month or so?  That is plenty of level room to experience the interface and explore the main areas as well as get a feel for how RvR works.

I don't think that'll be the case.  I couldn't imagine anything less than one week headstart.  As far as open beta goes, I think that will be occuring in late August or early September.

I am always a fan of gritty, stone-cold violence in my games.  I agree that WAR hasn't demonstrated too much violence so far, but then again I'm not in beta right now.  Violence is icing on the cake for me, however.  If WAR has more blood and violence than WoW I'll be appeased.  That was always one of the turn offs to WoW for me was the lack of violence and the over-sized cartoon features of the game.  I think WAR will have a decent amount of violence though, nothing like AoC, but decent.

The RvR in WAR has me so anxious to play though because of all the strategy and hardcore batteling that I probably won't even notice if there is blood gushing or not.

I really can't wait.

As for the reconformation my email said nothing about that.

Same here.  Nothing about reconformation.

Thanks for the reply.  I'm not a troll, I'm just impatient and cant decide if I should get AoC or wait for WAR.  Of what I have read AoC seems to have a higher max level of 80, whereas what I've read about WAR seems like the max level could be 40.  Lower max levels tend to turn me off.  Also, if most of the gear in WAR is class-restricted, that is also a turn off, but I do like WAR's variety of races/classes compared to AoC.  So I just can't decide.

Dont be fooled, it takes what a month to get to 80 in AoC? Id rather have 40 levels take longer and be alittle more meaningful, than have 100 levels of meaningless leveling.

Very good point.  With WAR you will be more than likely switching between RvR, PvE, PQ extra quite often and therefore it will be much more fun and won't even seem like a grind.  AoC is more "grindy" but then again, it is available now, whereas WAR you will wait till the end of September.  Good luck.

I personally think the community will be better on destruction side.

As for healers if thats the thing you enjoy, a new concept class would be war priest (melee healer so good survivability i am assuming) on order side or even disciple of khane (fro mthe looks of it a healer/dps/health tapping priest) on destruction.

Where are you getting your information?  Matter of fact, this is the exact opposite.  Destruction currently and more than likely will out number Order significantly.  However, Mythic has a good balance system to combat this problem.  In terms of community you may be correct, but you don't have any theory or information to back up your speculation, so it is just that.  Guilds will be a big part of WAR so it will be important to find a well organized guild that promotes alliances with other guilds in order to have success on the battlefield.  This is something that destruction is appearing to be doing much better than Order.  I hope Order gets some good guilds, but right now destruction is leading the way on this matter.

Unfortunatly that doesn't mean anything OP.  Well matter of fact, here it is, Aug 5th and I didn't get my invite yet.  Yes I am a CE pre-ordered customer.  I would assume the July newsletter that should be out any day now will have the information concerning CE open beta as I like to call it.

I believe it will be released as well, my concern is that it is going to be outdated by the time it is finally released.  Furthermore, I am very skeptical that there would be a 2008 release.  This just seems like a joke to me.  I have been waiting a long time for DF, but I must admit.  I'll be so busy with Warhammer I may forget about DF because Warhammer is a guarenteed quality game, as they have kept us up to date with content from game one.  DF is going to be the wild card.

The link is fairly accurate, but just keep in mind that it is a bit more conservative in the sense that it runs adds and recommendations for computer companies to try to sell upgrades.

How do you know if the game is INCOMPLETE?  LOL you haven't even played it yet.  Give me a break, just another troll.

You'll see a bunch of these popping up now that most of us will be starting to play the game in 2-3 weeks in open beta and the trolls will just camp here.  This is probably a sign that the open beta is coming a week earlier than expected.

Their heart is in the right place.  Let's admit that their investigators aren't real investigators and they aren't going to be good at the job necessarily.  Atleast Funcom has a hard stance against cheating.  Not a fan of AoC, but I think Funcom is atleast doing things correctly.

WAR is graphically one of the dumbest looking games I've seen (Granted I'm  basing my opinion on screenshots) but I love the idea of the game. I'm just too old for cartoons.

Clearly you are not in beta.  Clearly you are not aware of the recent graphic updates that have made WAR look like the best grapic MMO available, with the exception of VSoH on an amazing system.  I wouldn't base your opinion on screenshots there were taken months ago while in beta testing lol.

Runepriest won't be nerfed.  More than likely it will be the Witch Elf and Witch Hunter.  This is coming from friends that know more than I do of the current state.  Apparently the Runepriest, Shadow Warrior, and Bright Wizard aren't doing so hot and will need to be helped out a bit.  I am not in Beta.  Take it for what you will.

DAoC is still a great MMO, but it is a bit dated at this point.  I would recommend just waiting on WAR.  It's from Mythic and they are using all the great features in DAoC as a corner stone.  It will be out at the end of September just hold off till then.

Nope, eight months past launch and they still haven't added anything to this game.  Stay away.  It's pretty much dead at this point.

Agreed.  I think TR is somewhat just aiming to be a mid level tier MMO and just run on their base sub numbers that will always be on there.  I don't see them actually doing much with the game that would entail too much financial work.  I would recommend looking forward to WAR, as it is set to release at the end of Sept.  If you really just love the Sci-Fi setting then I would recommend SWG before TR at this point.  Even though SWG is falling to pieces as well.  EVE is pretty good if you can get into the ship flying stuff.  Gluck.
