I find it hard to believe your story OP, sorry.  The main reason I say this is because if you were wrongfully banned you'd be taking it up with Blizzard not the forums of MMORPG.com.  You may of done something a long time ago and are now suprised to find that they just now caught up to you, but I don't see them accidentally banning you.  If so then why not write them an appeal?  Hmmm interesting.

I don't see Bioware dropping the ball on this on.  Of course SWG was orginally amazing!  But, it is hard to sustain a game like that long, as was seen in UO.  I think Bioware will learn from the mistakes made by Sony and capitalize with a great Star Wars MMO.  This game will have more trolls however than any MMO out there because it is Star Wars and because of all the pissed off former SWG players.  That you can count on.

I have tried a few different types of mics with this computer and nothing works because of the setup of the PC.  For example the plug that goes into the front of the ONLY mic slot is too small for the hole.  I tried around back and there is nothing that seems to work either.  Does anyone who is familar with this PC have any advise on a mic that actually works on it for gaming?  Or know if I'm doing anything wrong?  Thanks.

It better be atleast 2 weeks!  That was pretty much the main reason I pre-ordered the CE.  I'll be pretty pissed if we don't get into beta in August. 

Wait SWG is still making updates to the game?  I didn't even know it still exsisted.  lol 

Well you should be banned from this forume too for still participating in SWG in it's current state.  Honestly, their updates seem like they are grasping at straws to keep some subs until they officially have to let the game go.

After reading some of the dumb names people have already come up with on here I really hope that Mythic has strict name polices for pets as well as characters.  GD!  Atleast capitalize the first letter of a name Einstein.   And as for all cap locks....if it was up to me you would be banned from WAR and torched on a stake while watching your friends play WAR without your over capitalization ass!  LOL

I will make an effort to gank all players with 3rd grade level names! 

I was very skeptical before, now I'm even more skeptical.  I think this game is good in theory, but it would need a big name/publisher and I don't feel Cryptic is the answer.  Time will tell I guess.  They need to keep in mind that the new SW MMO is on its way as well and with competition from another hot Sci-Fi will certainly put the heat on STO.  I'll be anxious to see how this one plays out.

I agree there is definately no logical reason to believe a 2009 release.  I'd guess sometime in 2011 though.  There is just no way they can get it up before 2010 and if they did you could bet your butt it would blow big time.

This is about the same part of the game where I lose interest as well.  There's more to the game then what you've experienced, or so it sounds, however, keep in mind that SWG is on life support.  It is not even close to what it use to be both in gameplay and population.  If you want to stick with a SW MMO your stuck with SWG until KOTOR is out.  And I'm sure that will be a looooooong time.  If you want less of a grind then switch to the up and coming WAR it is probably one of the least grindy games out there.  I think SWG has some decent content still in it, but it's just not the same as it use to be. 

It's been confirmed by all the pre-order stores.  It's been confirmed a lot recently in several sources.  I'm too tired to site any of them at the moment, but you can count on a Sept release with an Aug open beta.

Something is telling me that were not getting anything this year. Lets face the facts, I like most of you will play the first well made game that comes along, but I guess not this year.

As it stands I'm playing EQ2 ( free for june and july) but I really don't like it much, so It's back to D&D Online, WoW or trying Vanguard.

Well looks like you are way off OP.  You can bet your life on WAR releasing at the end of September.  Unless you've been in a cave recently you would know that it is right on schedule and now it is confirmed.  As far as TCoS, well this game isn't exactly a big hitter.  It will release sometime in 2009 more than likely because they don't have one fourth the financial backing or man power as WAR.  But I thought I had to take it upon myself to say that it looks like your OP that had no objective proof or backing one way or another was nothing but a worthless assumption.   Not looking good?!  Dang it's not even that WAR is going ot be in Nov or Dec, hell it is releasing Sept 30th.  Give me a break, I'm so sick of subjective crap like this.

In my experience of LotRO, I found it to be very very kiddie friendly.  If you want a serious MMO that has some real fighting and PvP content then it is not for you.  If you are a casual player who just likes to run around a world and explore with no risk of danger whatsoever then LotRO is right for you.  I don't mean to bash LotRO, it is a good game for those who it is designed for, but don't expect any RvR-PvP hardcore action with big gain as seen in WAR or something. 

I guess it just depends on what you are looking for, but as a carebear MMO it is a solid game.  G'luck.

It's an issue, but it isn't that much of an issue.  It's not worth the stress of trying to ban them.  Regarding the NDA, many people don't understand the contract.  For example, how many times do you hear people say "you just broke NDA because you said you were in beta!!"  and that is just a retarded statement because it isn't a break in the NDA.  What I'm trying to say is that many people, and you may be one of them, believe there are breaks in the NDA when there actually are not any violations.  With that said, sure, there are breaks of NDA that happen, but like I said, not a big enough deal or amount to concern yourself with them.

Most people just don't understand the NDA because they didn't read or sign it so they just compare it with one they have read in a prior game and therefore they don't know what the hell they are talking about.

I doubt you've been following WAR too closely by the look of your post.  There are 3 different ways to play WAR, RvR, PvP, and PvE.  Not to mention the crafting element.  All three levels will take a great deal of investment to truley max.  Your number of level that you are talking about is not as signficant as you may feel it is, as seen in WoW, AoC, or EQ2. 

Of course hardcore players will level fast.  So what if they do, maybe they enjoy power playing, but that doesn't necessarily mean they hold a huge advantage over others, atleast in the sense of RvR.  I understand your concern, but if you were currently involved in the beta or followed WAR a bit more closely you would see that it isn't as big of a concern as you feel it is.  WAR isn't about levels, it's about fun.  I can't do it justice by explaining so I guess you'll just have to see for yourself. 

VSoH has some great content and a huge world.  However, if you are looking at getting involved in an MMO soon I'd recommend skipping VSoH and going with WAR which will be released in Sept.  It is sure to be a success.  VSoH, I consider a success, but not a huge success.  I feel it is a good game if you enjoyed EQ2, but if you are sick of the same old same old then you should go with WAR, as it will be fairly innovative with things you've never seen before in MMOs. 

A plus of VSoH is player housing though, I do enjoy this feature.  I guess I just needed something new, and kick ass graphics just wasn't enough for me. 

Good decision.  I got mine from Amazon, which was convienant because you get the code right after you order.  But with EA, you can just call them and get it.  I thought they were all gone at this point too.  Those who still want one better get going.

I agree.  SWG will probably receive its finally blow with the new SW MMO.  I doubt they will even keep it running shortly after the new one releases.

Interesting point by the OP though.  It would be cool wouldn't it, but there is absolutely no connection between the two.

Destruction is always the winner in all these polls posted about once a week.  That's why I will be on Order.

Yeah I know there haven't been any official specs released.  That's why I targeted the question towards those already in beta.  Maybe someone in beta has the same graphics card and doesn't have any problems....atleast I hope:)

Fortunately I have a pre-ordered CE so atleast if I have to make an upgrade I can get it done before release.
