You know he can always run again in a few years. It's not like they drag you out into the street and shoot you if you lose an election.

After being intitially disappointed with the direction Bioware are taking I must admit that Hero's Journey sounds more like the game I wish SW:TOR would be.

For those that don't know - have a look at the Wikipedia article concerning the game:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hero%27s_Journey_(computer_game)

I for one am going to be looking out for this.

Good lord that page is outdated.

Also, Runes of Magic is hardly the first game to think of a Wyr-like system. City of Heroes uses the same sort of socketing thing going on, just on a simpler level.

But it's still impossible to recycle all the wasted hours I've spent online.

Stanley tin snips. Available at your local wal mart and will cut through damn near anything. Because the blades rely on pure mechanical advantage rather than a sharp edge, odds are you won't be able to cut yourself unless you try. I use these to cut everything from clamshell packaging to cardboard to cotton thread. Presumably they can cut through tin as well.

Edit: You'd think since it's written on the tool in the pic, I'd be able to spell the brand right.

Someone who supports Atari shouldn't talk about what will be the end of what, or did you forget the great gaming crash of 1982?

Gobama!

Also, even if it is a fillibuster proof congress, they can always just resort to defenestration.

Yeah that seems suspicious until you realize we have a legal process for that because a lot of people have wanted that done over the years. A court could still supoena them if it were called into question by someone outside McCain's whisper campaign.

You know, if anyone with a shred of brainpower actually believed this bullpocky the courts could subpoena his records easy and he wouldn't have to "turn them over".

No, you failed to understand what I'm saying. I don't like breathing coal/gas/oil fumes, I don't like sending money to saudi arabia, I don't like depending on the middle east for our energy needs. I could really give a crap about global warming, but if we switched to cleaner more independent energy to solve THOSE problems, by amazing coincidence, we're also working to prevent global warming at the same time. There is no downside. The upsides are health, wealth, freedom, and possibly saving the world.

Let's all be intellectually honest here. If you subscribe to a religion like wicca, certain sects of buddhism, satanism(Not devil worship. Rather the more "tame" hedonistic satanism), or if you're an agnostic, atheist, etc.

You hold no spiritual honesty or obligation to think that your beliefs are in adversarial motions with your sexuality.

But this "homosexualizing" of Christendom is intellectually and spiritually dishonest. If you have such a fervent dislike for the moral tenants of Christianity, do not be a Christian. If you're Muslim and love pork and sing praises to Jesus, you probably shouldn't be Muslim. In fact, you'd just be lying to yourself and others by denoting yourself as such.

We can merry-go 'round the bush all we want. But this whole, "my church teaches this, this church teaches that..." is again, lying to yourself and others.

The Branch Davidians(David Koresh's peeps), believed that the holy spirit was a female, that David Koresh was some type of holy man come to save them all, and that he had a right to father children by thirteen year old girls.

Upallnight, my suggestion, either convert to a religion that honestly supports your sexuality, or practice a life of celibacy. These people are lying to you by telling them that Christianity supports and loves the homosexual lifestyle as it would the heterosexual lifestyle. They're not lying to you by saying that God loves you, God loves us all, and every deed of evil we do, he wishes us to show it in the light, repent for it, and to never do it again. The whole thing that differentiates Christians from sinners, is not that we are somehow better, but rather we know we fall short, we know we are full of sin, and that by knowing God, he can help us overcome the sin that has afflicted us since birth, and will afflict us the rest of our life.

Again I'll say, the difference between Christians and the rest. Christians identify what it is they are doing in their life that would be wrong or sinful, and true Christians, will then try to change that sordid part of their life so that they may have a truer and closer relationship to God. To be more like God, to be closer to perfection. We may never attain it, but we are already lost to evil if we do not at least try.

I'll leave my post saying this, Isaiah 5:20  Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Why, because you consider yourself the end all intellectual decider?

Sorry, I will not take your advice and convert out of Christianity.  I love Christ and I love what he taught the world.  That's really about the end all of all the arguments I really need to know.  Because honestly, this whole "word of God" stuff never made sense to me in the first place.  But it does make sense to me to understand that some people wrote about Jesus.  And it does make sense to me that they got the general message he was trying to convey, one of forgiveness and love.  It also makes sense to me that outside that general message, they could have quite easily put their own biases and spin on the stories.

One other thing I know for sure.  I love my partner, and I don't think God is ready for me and him to be separated from each other.  We fit quite snug into the message Jesus put forth.  And I'm really quite secure in saying that.

You should consider that last Bible quote yourself.  Perhaps just because you find yourself in the "moral majority" doesn't make your interpretation the end all acceptance that you think it does.

Either way, here's the truth.  I accept Jesus Christ as my savior.  If I am sinning like you say, then I am saved by my belief in Christ.  For we are all sinners, every singe last one of us.  I am not going to convert and give up my belief in that forgiveness that Christ gave me because I believe in that with all my heart.

Well that's one thesis. 98 more and you can just start your own church instead of converting out. Serious suggestion, by the way.

In all seriousness, what is the point of even discussing this? It doesn't matter whether global warming is natural, man made, or even HAPPENING. What would we do if it were man made? We'd research cleaner fuels and try to cut back on our emissions, right? Now, give me a reason we shouldn't do that ANYWAY. Or do you like living in smog (which is actually caused by nitrous oxides, not CO2, and which ethanol contributes MORE to)? Or maybe you like sending billions of dollars every year to the middle east instead of being energy independent?

Global warming is just a red herring directed to people too dumb to understand real issues with energy.

Um okay, you don't think a rise in sea level is at all significant?  You think it'll just go over smoothly?

Okay...

Well my point just sailed right over your head didn't it?

Paul was a douchebag. At no point did God, Jesus, or anyone else for that matter back up any of the stuff he said. If you take everything Paul says out of the bible, then you're left with Leviticus as the only book that condemns homosexuality, and Leviticus is so widely ignored that it's practically non-canon anyway. Unless Christians are burning animal sacrifices again now, in which case I need to go back to church.

That said, I'm not a Christian, what do I care what your faith says about what I can do?

Princess Tutu.

Plot; A boarding school for ballerinas is forced to live out a book that wasn't written by some dead guy. Our heroine is Princess Tutu, a duck who transforms into a girl with the help of a magic pendant. And then it gets weird.

so you see, what the author is trying to say here is that God see's through democrats and respectfully requests that you dont vote them in to office.

God endorses McCain

But the bible clearly states that the earth is Satan's domain. Hence why the good people get taken by the Rapture, instead of all the bad ones getting dragged down to hell. Therefore, by that logic, Democrats have a god-given right to lead.

What I care about are issues that are touchy and moral based, such as life, righteousness, establishment and security of marriage between a man and a women only, etc etc.

Well then, you'd love both candidates, as they are both devout Christians. Both parties have stated they want to preserve marriage as a man and a woman, while recognizing the LEGAL RIGHTS of same-sex couples. Then it's just between McCain being pro-life, and Obama being a totally righteous dude.
