Message me if you have not gotten your headstart code yet.  I work for gamestop and am trying to remedy some of these situations

Gamestop varies completely from store to store, so do not bash the company.  I work at gamestop and my store is on top of EVERYTHING

EVERYONE in my store knew about almost every game on the floor.  Gamestop hires kids in highschool/college for sales rep who need a part time job at minimum wage.  Personally, i did wait two days after the CE release for preorder for people to preorder.  we had 1.  NOONE else came in and asked.  At my store, people didnt really preorder games because where i live we have 16 in the city and i worked in the mall.  EVERYONE has a store closer to them that will prolly be open on midnight.  Garaunteed, noone was gonna pre-order those lol.

the thing is you cant just BUY that card.  You have to actually buy a pack which has a SLIM chance of getting that card.  Then you can seel it for in game currency (ass tons) or sell it online for real money (at the buyers risk).

Everquest is not like WoW.  You cannot simply bubble hearth.  You cannot stun someone then mount up and fly away.  Mobs do not lose aggro if you walk 15 feet from where they started.  If a hardcore server were to open, noone would play because noone would be able to reach level cap, and if they did, they would never raid cuz GOOD LUCK trying to do a raid without dieing.  In fact there are raids where you cannot avoid dieing.  Try explaining that to the guy who just lost his toon.

This may have been posted cuz i didnt read it all, but...

I remember camping Crushbone Hill and turning in CB belts and shoulderpads for something worthwhile!

I remember when Lucilin and Bastion of Thunder were the places to be!

I remember when a game's graphics were painfully bad, but it didn't matter, you were having too much fun to give a damn.

I remember looking at my clock one night after a grind session only to realise i was 30 minutes late for class already (it wa 7:30am)

I called alienware, there are compatible cards, but since theres a single fan and a single heatsink in my particular notebook, anything in the 8000 generation would overheat the computer rather quick.  Looks like im playing on the notebook until i can get someone to piece my new desktop together for me.

What exactly is holding me back?  the video card?

Windows XP

2 gb ram

Nvidia Gefore7600 go card (appx mem 256mb.)

2.1 duo core.

This is in a laptop.  Now the other question i have is should i be running it in XP or vista, because i have both.  With vista i get the shared memory on my GPU bringing it up to like 520mb (after shared memory of course) and DX10.

Input?

More than likely you DID get one but overlooked it.  Usually its at the "thank you for downloading" page near the bottom its like "heres your code."

More than likely your "Subscription Code" refers to the CD key you should have been given at some point during the download/would be on the inside of the case if you actually bought the game at a retailer.  Other than that, have fun with this game.  I didnt.

I myself have though about returning to this AMAZING game many-a-times, but decided against it since i would have to relevel a character.  I loved spending many hours kicked back in my bed, keyboard at my side, controller in hand, nearing the point of passing out, grinding in this game.  Its so much easier to lay back with a controller and play then sit upright in a chair and play on this radiator of an alienware laptop i have.

I have an alienware m5550, and i only have good things to say about my laptop.  If your going desktop, build your own or get someone else to build it for you, its much cheaper, if your going laptop, get Alienware/ Dell XPS.  I LOVE my m5550 and any trouble ive had has been fixed within 3 days, even shipping new parts.

My laptop specs are:

2.1ghz duo core processer

2gigs ram

256mb Nvidia Gforce 7600go

I love it. it costed a pretty penny, but it was well worth it.

Blizzard is charging 10  dollars for name changes to deter kids from constantly changing their names.  By changing your name, you are cleaning the slate for your character.  "PlayerX" may have a bad reputation on a server but  "PlayerY" does not because hes new.

WoW is just making money off of what people will pay for.  They allow you to transfer characters to accounts and new servers for the same 25 bucks.  Look at EQ1.  To transfer a character account to account is almost 100 bucks, 150 if u wanna transfer servers too.  IMHO blizzard has the cheapest payed abilities in the MMO market.

If someone said "Hey, i will give you 10 dollars to change the text above my character" wouldnt you accept the money?

Have you played RF online?  Have you played ANY other korean MMO?  Then youve played 12 sky.  This game is almost EXACTLY like RF online.

Um, have "A Perfect computer" to play wow?  I think not.  trust me, i played on some bad computers.  A laptop that was 18ghz processor with 512 ram, a desktop with 2.8ghz and 512 ram with integrated video card, and ive also got my alienware laptop.  All of which play WoW well.  Personally, even on my alienware, i keep my settings to a minimum beause you dont want that nasty lag spike while healing and have ure tank die and get ure guild pissed at ya.  But yeah, you REALLY dont need anything fancy to play wow, idk where you got this idea from.  Anything 3-4 years old and newer will play it. But then again, if you cant spend 600 bucks on a PC, you shouldnt be playing games in the first place on them.
