If it is that then it is a MMO... the success of this is seriously up for debate though.

I am never playing a FunCom game again.

You can't find worse support anywhere. The game might look pretty but it's beyond boring and bugged like never before.

I understand why some have to make excuses for a game but Warhammer is not going to get anywhere successful. The first numbers might look good but the drop rate will be HUGE and I can understand why.

Making a game today is not like it was 3½ years ago when WoW came out and had to battle a few other MMOs. Games today HAVE to be spot on! No bull... not too many bugs... no boring areas... no useless quest logs or pointers. You see, Warhammer is going up again some very good games and you don't get many second chances anymore. If your game sucks you lose and people won't come back.

I know I won't because I feel Warhammer fakked things over. They promised loads of things which are nowhere near the game today and that sucks.

When AoC came out I was seriously pissed off because that game was terrible... so all I got was my hopes for Warhammer, and boy was I let down big time.

Warhammer is extremely boring. I made it to lvl 7 before I had to give up. There's no chance in hell I'm wasting one cent on recurring on this game. I'm still on the free month and I don't even bother playing NOW THAT IT'S FREE.

I bought a giant PC to run AoC when it came out so it sure as hell should be able to run Warhammer... but no... it's loaded with lag and spikes and God knows what.

Imagine that... I have to go and bump my account at Blizzard and start playing WoW again because it works. The community might suck big time but the game itself works.

Why in God's name would they keep a tool like Gaute Godager? It's not like it's the first tine someone speak up about Gaute Godager and his constant failures and roaming around like a "king"

FunCom is by far the worst and most unprofessional company I've ever had to deal with and one thing is for sure... I'm NEVER playing anything from them ever again.

I luckily got the same email, which came in handy after I cancelled AoC and LOTRO. I'm gonna give it a go again and hopefully see the point in this game this time.

AoC will never get big. It will have a decent fan base but nothing big. Other new releases will eventually crush it.

I got the same email a fe days after I cancelled Age Of Conan and thought "WTF?".

Checked the account and it still said "Cancelled".

I've been thinking about trying this game for a while but the botting issue has made me stay far away from it. In my opinion it also show a lot about the company if they don't work hardcore on eliminating the bots.

If money is an issue, use trusted GMs, players who has been known for ages by GMs, players or whatever terms you wish to use. It has worked in other games and can work here too.

We used it on another game we designed in the past and it worked well. The players got happy and the cheaters got angry. Case closed :)

In my opinion you should stay far away from LOTRO.

At first I paid for the game, installed it, gave it several chances and almost died from boredom. Yea I know it sucks to hear if you're a really big fan of LOTRO. Then I uninstalled it but a few months later decided to give it a go again.

Same thing... LOTRO is just too boring and even the second time I went back I had problems find players. Well i found one, a norwegian guy who had been running around for a week without seeing anyone.

They are just trying to cash in on a bloody fantastic book.

The biggest problem with WoW is by far the many kids running around like loud headless chickens.

I guess it's time for me to give up on this game. I've been waiting for the free trial for ages but before they got something in place WAR is out and so is Spellborn and AOC. By then the original population who would be a fantastic help to new players is most likely gone. That makes it even harder to get into the game and the drop rate will be far greater. Which means in the end; the game will die faster.

Why this game is rated like it is, is beyond me. Good lord it sucks.

It would be far better if they came up with a trail for new players soon. There's no chance in hell I'm paying for a game with such a reputation without seeing it first.
