See, I don't understand how the PvPers  ( or so-called PvPers ) can complain when they are effectively getting more content than us PvErs. Think about it.

When I reach level 80, and have done all the quest/storylines/etc., I'm done. I get to re-roll or find another game. And I expect that, Am not bitching about it in any way.

The PvPer, on the other hand, once he's made it through the 80 levels and done all his quests/storyline/etc. ( if he wishes ), now get's even more content with the killing of the big bosses ( if he so wishes ) or just going straight into PvP land. He gets more time and enjoyment out of his toon while I'm rerolling my next one.

Some people are just never satisfied.

to the OP, I can only assume that you have some need to have the best gear on the server based on the QQing you're doing. Please understand that this game isn't built for you personally, it's built to appeal to millions of customers - some of whom enjoy raiding. Personally I don't ,so I won't raid and therefor i won't get the phat lootz that are in these instances. And i couldn't care less. I'm going to take from the game those parts that are appealing to me - exploring, questing, and Mini-game PVPing.

Hell in the 2 years i've played WOW i've never raided, I don't even have BC - i found what i enjoyed doing and just did that. Now i have a bunch of twinked chars and i get on and BG. (My account runs out on May 17th - talk about timing! booyeah). So while I'm really interested in the fact that you're NOT going to play and the reasons why....errrr no I  really don't care why you're not going to play. Go hit the Darkfall boards and wait for your perfect game, or better yet why don't you develop you're own game that meets your particular needs.

You play WoW and your going to go play WoW2/AoC.

Its ok to be mad that AoC is WoW2, dont live in denial. Not all mmo's are like WoW. Look at Mortal Online ( barely announced, in early dev, you have no idea what the game will be like ), Earthrise ( barely announced, in early dev, you have no idea what the game will be like ), and Fallen Earth ( still in dev, don't know how the final product will be ) for real PvP. Hehe

Release date.... NEVER!

Never before have I seen so many people in denial, aside from the people who think Darkfall will be released soon. AoC is a clone of WoW, have fun grinding in arenas for PvP points for gear. Have fun grinding forever in instanced 24 man raids in hopes that you might get an item you want. Two sets of gear, 1 for PvP and 1 for PvE. People who think AoC is a PvP mmo.... you have another thing coming. The same goes for Warhammer!

gpotato are a bunch of washed up fools. Why even play any of their sloppy left over asian mmo's? Would be a cold day in hell before I gave gpotato a dime. I have read so many horror stories from people who got fked by gpotato by using the item mall.

Just F.Y.I. we can assume the OP likes PvP but since he didn't state it not all players from old UO liked PvP (me for one).....

It reminds me of those people that ate so much fast food, became fat pigs and then wanted to sue the fast food chain. Thats what it will be like if any of you moes play one of these new mmo's and then get mad if you die and get looted. So and F.Y.I. Gobble these if you may.

Also forgot to say that many of the classic UO players are playing Shadowbane. Shadowbane is a total open PvP mmo with 0 restrictions. Shadowbane has full player looting and guilds war eachother by taking down eachothers guild made castles in siege wars. SB is also 100% free to play and download, its first few years was pay to play.

Mortal online is a newer mmo that is just like classic UO and it has a 2009 release date. Some classic UO players have been also hanging out on the Darkfall online forums, another mmo like classic UO, although Darkfall online has been in the works since the dawn of man... so screw Darkfall online. 

Tasos reminds me of that kid in school that would brag to everyone about all the Nintendo games he had at home. After you got the chance to go to the kids house, you find out he only has Duck Hunt and Exite Bike. You then ask the kid... so ummm... I thought that you had this game and that game, the kid says... oh I lent them to my friend.

What a lame arse Dev journal! Grow some rocks Tasos! If they want Darkfall to be tested, let the community of people who have been waiting for many years play and test the game. Tasos should  just say we are working on the game and it will not be out for a very, very long time.
