Since you say Jagex fails with all it's updates since the wildy was taken out, would you really want them to try to make a necromancy skill?

I'm kinda 70-30 with you on that. I'm glad there's a place in game now where you can sell or buy next to everything you need, and now I can explore the wilderness without fear of being PKed. The bad part is now the handbook that I bought is totally inacurate, and people that post on these forums complain about the updates.

After playing around in the PvP worlds a bit, I found out some side uses for it for those who actually care:

1) Good for prayer training - lots of people leave the bones from their kills on the ground which you can run around and get for yourself.

2) Good food drops - most of the drops are food like lobster and cake (at least for me), which is good for those that are too lazy to get their cooking levels up

3) Good for rangers - if there's a player using a bow in the area, you're sure to find lots of arrows lying around which you can pick up. I've found a good number of adamant arrows, which are fairly expensive as far as arrows go.

4) Good for money - although the money income isn't near as good as the old wilderness, you can still make a fair amount of money selling the items mentioned earlier (ie: bones, food, and expensive arrows). You can also find drops such as mithril armor, which go for a good sum at the GE.

The above are just some things I thought I'd share. I know the new PvP updates aren't even close to what the wilderness was, you gotta make do with what ya' got.

In your opinion, what is the best and worst thing (1 each) in Runescape? If you can't think of anything good about it, then put the least worst thing. I think the best thing about runescape is the number of skills it has, and the worst being the lack of content for free players.

www.nodiatis.com/

Game's called Nodiatis. It's browser based. Multiple skills that you can train from trapping to magic. There are classes which affect bonuses to different combat skills. The gaphics aren't great by any standard; they're basicly pictures. After getting a level in a certain skill called "Passive Advancement", you can choose 1 skill to gain exp. automaticly. You can change the skill being trained at any time. There is pking, but once you become a pker you can never become a non-pker. I'll leave the rest of the game to you to figure out.

I respect people who go through the trouble to get this kind of information. Good job!

It is similar to the original pvp system except for not getting your opponents stuff. I have realized that I was an idiot some time last year, and I'm okay with it.

And I meant the warm fuzzy feeling while pking in the old wildy, not the new pvp. It's not that hard to figure out.  Seriously.

Says the guy who got a warm fuzzy feeling everytime he got "pixels" after he killed someone.

could you elaborate on what's so sad about it?

I hate this PvP. Not because of the droped stuff, but because I don't like loosing all my stuff when I die. People tell me I'm "safing" when I heal, but I can't reply because I'm too busy eating my food. Next to everybody uses either range or magic (or both) and they completely destroy my melee guy. If I tried the wildy before it got removed, I probably wouldn't have liked that either.

If you had a chance to meet with the guy who made all the cruddy updates, what would you say/do to him? Describe in as much detail as you see fit.

If a player has fun doing a skill and is willing to do the skill, it is not your place to try to make them see it isn't fun. If you don't have fun doing the same things, go do something else.

This is true. I respect and agree  your view, but tell us if you will, what do you do most of the time on runescape?

A bit of everything, really. Mostly combat nowadays. Mabye some clan wars with one of my runescape buddies.

That means you don't have fun in the game anymore and should play something else.
