    • You know, I've played just about every MMO and I think this is the best one out there right now. I don't play it anymore because I played it a lot for about a year and a half. I won't ever go back because it's just burnt for me, but if you're on the fence, try it. Give it a chance, run to at least 5th level. Get a group together, enjoy the experience. I think this game did a lot right. The quests are very well done (generally, although there are some lemons).

    • uncus - I expect you will still really want to join groups... and that a hireling will mean you have to run it on Normal... (but most solo quests are level 6 and below)

    • DDO is excellent. And Turbine do what they do very well. The only gripe I have with DDO is that they chose Eberon and not Forgotten Realms. Seems like if they had of used the Realms they would of hit the MMO market dead on the nail and took one of the leading roles in the industry, instead they are just another mediocre mmo-rpg. .... imho.

    • oh wow sounds like the early Everquest II beginning (tutorial island)

    • Ahh, the option to use DX10 with boosted quality will also come with the presented patch (Module). All addons are totally free - you only pay the subscription, which is cheaper than WoW.

    • I suggest you try it now. I left WoW and this game is MUCH better and more innovative. I'm quite experienced with MMOs. DDO's getting better all the time. No problems with population on DDO Eu. Player base is growing rapidly :).

    • I like this new addition for lowbies.

    • Mysk, I don't understand you :). Do you know why it's that way? Play that quests first. You don't even know the story ;).

    • i like the heirlings.. i left due to lack of finding groups... and cause it took awhile to get actually do something

    • they should zoom more on the screen as nefermor said

    • I was all, "That's cool", and then she was all, "The white dragon is causing it to snow", and like, woa, I made my Fortitude roll and TOTALLY managed to not face palm.
  • uncus(posted Tue Aug 19 2008)
    • Hmmm...does it still count as soloing if you take henchmen? I've soloed to level 7 but have hit a wall...
  • Eveeldour(posted Tue Aug 19 2008)
    • Very similar to Guild Wars in the hirelings aspect. Should be interesting.
  • brostyn(posted Tue Aug 19 2008)
    • Interesting.
  • A5tro(posted Tue Aug 19 2008)
    • I love this game
  • nefermor(posted Tue Aug 19 2008)
    • I would like this vedio better if I could see more of the content and less of her head.
