- Bottom Line is... Every game looks like another.. Warhammer-WoW... Guild Wars- Aion.... City of heros/villains-Chapions online... Do i really need to go on.. And Btw Everyone steals ideas from games thats been great... why? you ask? Because they worked great in other games!! Listen theres nothing out there nor has been thats really standing out and taking control of the PC MMO market that makes anyone say " Damm i cant wait to play this!" yea we have all the clones and look alikes.. But c'mon people WoW is Old. GW's is Old. Everquest is old. CoH Is Old... Hell pretty much all the Good MMO's are OLD!!! Theres nothing in the market that stands out and is truly something new, grabs me by the neck and screams Pay a monthly fee and play me!!! it's all re-hashed ideas with a new name.. Sit down and think... Name somthing thats not like anything else that turned out great and has or had a chance to dethrone WoW and the few other top MMO"s... My last hopes was talbua rasa and perhaps Pirates of the burning sea... Both Failed me as being somthing Kinda new to do...and has no chance @ dethroning anyone.

- No game soundtrack has ever impressed me as much as AoC did, so getting the CE was worth it just because of the soundtrack alone. He did one hell of a job composing the music and getting Helene Bøksle to sing was a stroke of genius.

- Can't see any problem here but then again i'm used to Norwegian accent (and the typical "ehh"). He spoke english very well, in fact above any average native english speaking folks. Please show more respect to the man, who made such great music to this game. He really brought the Conan universe feeling into the game with that music that's an achievement in itself in my book. Hope to see more of him in other future games aswell.

- Haha, this is typical norwegian! This guy is actually really good in english, for a norwegian! Ever heard Petter Solberg (the wrc driver) speaking:P But with Helene Bøksle on voice, she is mesmerizing!

- wow that was a terribly awkward interview...Nonetheless this game has a sick soundtrack, the best I've heard in video games or otherwise.

- Yeah I have to agree with others here. Even if you don't like the or aren't looking forward to it, it's hard to deny that he (and others who worked with) didn't do a fantastic job. I only played the game at the end of beta but even then some of the music just fit the areas of the game so well I was blown away.

- Yeah I noticed that quite a bit. even though thier english is practically perfect they seem to take along time to come out with things and alot of err's. kind of remind me of the ents in the lotro books :D

- The music is absoultely awsome! The voice of the woman in the main track is unbelievable and so perfectly composed with the orchestra mixed with leading instruments. As an ex-composer and MMORPG player I may only say - IMBA!!! :)

- It's actually common in Norway to say "eeh" whenever you're taking a pause to think and that sort of stuff. We just say that unconciously. It does get annoying from time to time though, even for us :)

- Funcom's Music has always been awesome. I forget who did the music for Anarchy Online, but he did an excellent job with that. Now with Knut, We will see very soon, but from what I can tell so far, seems he did very well. Knut, if you're watching, Good job mate! Cannot wait to hear this in its entirety..

- That's the reason I ordered the CE. Hell of a job from him! Too bad there wasn't anything mentioned from the hottie on the soundtrack, Helene Bøksle.

Server Merges Begin This Week

Funcom has posted an update on the Age of Conan server mergers which were announced by Game Director Craig Morrison back in late September. The Update also states that when the merges are complete, players will be given free character transfers and several new 'fresh start' servers will be introduced.
