    • Hmm i feel sorry for this team because i don't see there game making it.The game models and pretty much everything about the game seems to be VERY old ,and just used the unreal engine to make the turnover easy.Cmon they should be able to make MUCH better player models and animations with very little knowledge and effort. This game needs a LOT of help if it hopes to break even for it's effort.

    • there's absolutely nothing, in my opinion, next gen about this game. dodging real time has already been done. hell you can dodge bullets in counter strike. it's not new. i don't understand how a bovine hind leg is appealing either. the graphics are a huge turn off for me also.

    • Well its not my cup of tea but hope for the best to the devs that made it.
  • kambei(posted Tue May 06 2008)
    • Well looking at the game it looks great. Pretty next gen too. The real time combat is cool, though I don't see myself playing the game. But overall I think the game is cool and pretty next gen. For 1 reasons, 1 Its using the real time combat. 2 Skills matter more than your equipment.

    • honestly i dont understand how this game will survive. It seems like the classic point kill and roam here. though thats what we are used too, but thats not my fault i hope for next gen MMO, this certainly isnt it

    • I have REALLY high hopes for this game mostly because it looks like it actually involves skill to play so it isn't just like "run here attack this wait 20 seconds for this to die pick up an item and return it to me" type of game play and what would make this even better is if you actually have to press a button each time you want to attack (no that wasn't a joke). In the FAQ on the website it says that reputation plays a big role in this game, "The skill of a warrior means everything, not what type of weapon he chooses to wield" which just makes me want to play this all the more.

    • This game has draenei, well thats what the one race looks like...
  • nefermor(posted Wed Apr 30 2008)
    • The game sure does look interesting but honestly I cant get past the character models and their odd proportions [sigh]

    • Good video...and just so everyone knows...it won't be a bunny jumping fest because you lose ALOT of power in your attacks when your jumping. I don't mind the graphics because they focused more on the world than making the characters hair move...but I can understand where people might be turned off by the graphics.

    • The combat thingy that rotates seems nice but the movement of the char when u combat is pretty yuk and also the inventory and char setup menu looks very dull. But anyway game isnt out yet , it does look pretty nice mostly because it has some great new ideeas in it.

    • Cartoony, lame, generic. Say hello to the bottom of the pile CoSB. Inovative? Well it very well may be, but when the graphics are this level of suck, I'm not going to try it to see. Meh, sorry to bad mouth the game, I hope those who play it will enjoy it and I wish it enough success to keep it going and keep its players happy. But for me...nope.
  • daeandor(posted Sun Apr 27 2008)
    • im impressed with their attempt to make the game with enough different aspects to NOT be a clone. Everyone has their own opinion though... Looks on these teaser vids can be deceiving.
  • bestiacorpus(posted Sun Apr 27 2008)
    • can't wait for this game... LOOOOVE the lushness of the game world. HAAAATE the gliding animation and excessive effects that most likely give you a seizure :( I sure hope they fix it.
  • Douhk(posted Sat Apr 26 2008)
    • yeah, still skeptical about this game... will either be this, Aion, or AoC for me. What I dislike about the combat system (or at least what is shown in this video) is that bunny jumping is common practice. I would probably not play this if that was what combat was like constantly... I'm getting tired of playing a melee class and then a spellcaster can just jump in circles to kill me. Looks really stupid in general as well, if I may add to that. The environment is great though and the graphics overall are better than most MMORPGs out now (not compared to others coming out, but it is decent enough for me).
  • striker117(posted Fri Apr 25 2008)
    • Another cookie cutter MMO...meh
  • Sp00sh(posted Fri Apr 25 2008)
    • Still looks good to me, awesome art style for the game...very interesting story...and the game mechanics are different enough from other mmos to make this one stick out! I love it!
  • apocalance(posted Fri Apr 25 2008)
    • This video showcases bad animations that will always be in the game. You see this in many MMO's. Someone starts an ability and they move to the side.. but they don't run, they glide because they're in mid-animation. In addition, the models look awful. When they zoomed up to the head in the beginning and you could see the character neck, the hair looked like a plastic toy snap on piece. Yeah, it's early, so we'll see. The environment looked great though.
  • afoaa(posted Fri Apr 25 2008)
    • Looks better than most mmos you see these days but still way too much graphical effects and silly 80s like game sounds. And the way the main char is constantly bunny jumping and seems to benefit from it makes the game look silly.
  • Dfresh0522(posted Thu Apr 24 2008)
    • WOW id kill 2 play this game.....kil>>
  • heerobya(posted Thu Apr 24 2008)
    • Anyone who can't see how different this game is needs to do their research before they post. TcoS is shattering tons of standard MMO conventions, much more so then any other title in production. Will it work and be a good game? I really, really hope so...
  • Saorlan(posted Thu Apr 24 2008)
    • This looks like a game inbetween AoC and Darkfall. It looks very very impressive and the game features listed in the FAQ on the website are very impressive.
  • watto112(posted Thu Apr 24 2008)
    • Still a bit sceptical. Should have been out by now. Looks a bit tired. But if the Deck system works...
  • kingtommyboy(posted Thu Apr 24 2008)
    • this will be my next mmorpg
  • murphys123(posted Thu Apr 24 2008)
    • now that is solid looking combat, kudos
  • Orph(posted Thu Apr 24 2008)
    • i've played the game and it is as awesome as you can see if this game can get a good community growing then this will be THE game to play!
  • Deweycat23(posted Thu Apr 24 2008)
    • I have yet to play and I am in love with this game. All the other big hyped mmo's are to me cookie cutter updates of WoW. This is innovative and will work. I am passing on all other until this releases. This game will get you out of traditional roles to. say good bye to healer, tank, dps,cc etc. Thanks Spellborn
  • daarco(posted Thu Apr 24 2008)
    • TCoS is a sleeping winner waiting to awake. It is different and fresh from anything else. The combat looks so beautful.

    • Might be the surprise hit of the year. Certainly seems to have more innovation than *cough* Conan *cough*
  • boinged(posted Thu Apr 24 2008)
    • I've preordered AoC but this game is starting to grow on me. Looks like another high quality game - it's going to be a fun year playing MMOs!
  • Talemire(posted Thu Apr 24 2008)
    • I'm not too crazy about the whole "deck" system. It's nowhere near what Age of Conan is going to be. The graphics and RPG "feel" in Spellborn just aren't there. 5/20/08
  • detals(posted Thu Apr 24 2008)
    • The game looks different (in a good way), the system seems fun and interesting but somehow something was missing for me...
  • coffee(posted Thu Apr 24 2008)
    • looking good.. fast action.. forget AoC's slow ass combat.. and swing'it and see attacks.
