    • This is the most quest based mmorpg ive seen, ingame cut-scenes voice acting, pluss pvp and pvpve! Im guessing you can just grind as well after all some of us like to just kill meaninglesly, but i dont think this is the grind fest people think it is, even if it is ill still play cause im more hard-core than you other players

    • Oh and yes, this is actually an old video. Those are no longer the Asmodaen base wings; they've long been redone to resemble darker, more brawny versions of the Elyos wings (white and angelic). And stop comparing this to Perfect World, please. NCSoft cornered the market on Flight long before Perfect World with City of X's travel power system.

    • I wish you jaded DnD rejects would look up information on the game before judging it. Here's the run-down: Yes it's an Asian MMO, no there's no grind, the game is designed to guide you through ALL YOUR LEVELS via quests, similar to City of Heroes and World of Warcraft. Likewise, the level cap is also 50, though that probably will change with expansions. You're welcome.

    • In all honesty it looks like Guild Wars mixed with Final Fantasy to me, at least graphically. Not my bag of tea, but it looks fair. Story looks cheesy but eye-in-eye on me I'm more grit than fluff. Promising to some.

    • check out youtube for all latest Aion videos before you compare it to L2, FF etc..and judge it. Obviously the douches that think the game sucks by only lookin at this vid are pretty dumb!

    • I thought this was a "gameplay" video? Is this considered "gameplay" in the Asian market? Or is this "gameplay" for FF fans only? Still, looks interesting... I'd just like to see some gameplay video before I really get interested.

    • Oh wow another Asian based mmo. Can't wait for 90% PvP and the grindtastic PvE with the incredibly bad storyline and guys who are wussier than the girls. Hey it may look jsut like lineage 2 but it has wings you guys! WINGS! OMG heres all my money.

    • Cool Vid the Character Animations imo are some of the best and mos of what you see here is actual gameplay footage ok some of it is cinematic but the cinematic section is the same as the gameplay footage if you will sit here and blindly say that the character animations are crap then you have got some serious issue with your eyesite. This game is gonna be big and probably steal a lot of ppl from some of these other so called WoW killing games, i can guarantee it wont be a WoW killer but it is gonna be huge. And yes you can mark my words

    • Honestly, I doesn't look like much gameplay, but the graphics do make it seem like its a game-engine cut scene, so those are most likely gameplay graphics. And to me, that looks good, due to the fact my machine is not aging so well. Just like every MMO, I'll pick up Collectors.

    • Hmmm very nice but they changed the wings some time ago =P And to the nay-sayers, please smoke some more crack, if you think the Aion animations sucks, you truly must be an inbred forest dweller who thinks EQ2 and VG animations probably are godly right? Don't make me laugh. Anyway looking forward to this mmo. Also compared to certain western mmorpgs, this won't be rushed,, even though it's already finally gotten to testing the endgame, they have said, it will probably first be released early next year. Only other mmorpg who didn't rush it all through was.... yop, WoW.

    • Nice trailer but, like most people are saying, it doesn't seem right, those Korean animation are bad .. and ... I had some high expectation for this game, but it keep going disapointing me. I will try it ... cuz I expect it a while ago, but I don't give any credit for this game. Won't be a success

    • i think it was a pretty engaging video, but seems more of a trailer than a gameplay vid. It showed only a tiny part of actually combat, and we didnt get to see the interface or any skills. But it was a pretty cool trailer, not that trailers matter that much in an MMO.

    • NCsoft make quality products. But I cant help hating those Korean animations. The strange running, the too fast with to few frames combat moves and all the glarmour and bling blong. It just looks wrong on a fundamental level.

    • If the gameplay isnt a grind fest and combat is immersive/fun (not spamming same skills),this game will be a huge success. Got the looks,great story soo far,they need only gameplay.

    • I think this is slightly old as they changed the wings on the Asmodians to be Raven wings (a good change in my opinion)

    • Surprisingly nice graphics for an NCSoft game (which always always sucks in that area). The story is a little.. well.. uninteresting though, but lets hope the gameplay delivers something new?

    • The new ncsoft games always look good... but in the end it's just a lineage 2 with better graphics and this time wings. The males look bad too, i really would question their sexuality. A month after release this will follow the ncsoft trend and the servers will be overran with bots and gold sellers... it's a fate ncsoft can never prevent.

    • The story is quite compressed to fit the video, the daeva quest has around 4 cutscenes iirc to explain everything and this video shows only one of those (the abyss scene). Nice to see they are alerady hiring voice actors and actresses for the dubbing,
