Yeah, I gotta say that the trailer is pretty win right there. Not to mention the voiceover was solid, which is where some of these game trailers really drop the ball. |

Yes, single seaters, fighters, fighter-bombers and cargo haulers. |

The game looks awesome but its gonna be published by CodeMasters...
I'm sure things will be fine but CodeMasters isn't good at managing MMOs. I guess we'll see when it comes out. |

But I suspect they will probably rely on CM since they have the infrastructure in place. |

Haven't been back to the LOTRO forums for awhile but I would guess the main criticism of CM is the fact they are not Turbine! I've never really liked the idea of having a US Dev/Publisher and an EU hired publisher and it makes me nervous of playing GOA's Warhammer Online. But with Jumpgate Evolution we have CM as the sole publisher so hopefully it's just a case of people needing to put aside any past bad LOTRO feelings. |

At a fear of getting the flames brought upon me, I just have to ask. What is the problem with an intercontinental dev/publisher group? |

Well that makes sense, yea I can see your point there. We have the same problem sometimes with US based publishers in europe. |

mining was fun in Jumpgate (classic). If you got your orbital mechanics down you have an advantage over other miners. Better then Eve: 1) You can't be camped at the gate. 2) 3 dimensions. 3) Player skill and tactical knowledge of weapons and ship abilities make a difference, not how long you have been subscribed. 4) You don't lose months of grinding if you get blown up. 5) Traveling is more fun. 6) Docking is challenging and fun. |
