Villains could go around snatching purses or beating up protestors (don't tell me you haven't been tempted). Eventually an NPC reports you and a squadron of Longbow or Arachnos comes after you. You either have to defeat them or evade them for a certain length of time before they give up.
Now where's that suggestion forum??? |

My thought is that it would be like a post-mission ambush. The Longbow would be your level, conning to the difficulty level you set. Same thing for blue side - the ring leader would be your level, again conning to your set difficulty level. I don't think there would be a problem with a "too high" spawn being left behind in a zone. If a level 50 brute started whupping up on the Mercy Island protesters, the Longbow would be level 50, but would ignore the lowbies. If you evade them for a long enough time, they'd just run off and despawn. Hunting down the ringleader would probably have to be an instanced mish, or if you have to chase him/her down, s/he'd ignore everyone else in the zone. If you zoned before you caught the ringleader, s/he'd "escape" and despawn. |

/signed. This is exactly the kind of thing this game needs to bring it to life. Graphics get attention, but involvement and achievement keep people playing. |

Better rule in Hell than serve in Heaven. |
I say we extend the concept. Being quite the badge hound, I'd love to see something like a "Protector of Atlas Park" badge for having busted 50 mundanes in the zone, stuff like that. With the possibility of badge-triggered missions on top of it, we have a winner, I say. |
