considering CH sticks are one of the most common used sticks for playing the game, your doing something wrong, not the game.

maybe not spamming the help channel would help? remember, most of the players have atleast some level of maturity and dont like dealing with whiny 10 year olds, because they dont take responsability for anything.

I dont know why you cant log into the forums, Im contacting CRS right now to see whats going on, i just checked the records and the last person to register was in april, so somethings up.

If you ever whine again dont expect any help but many fingers pointing to the exit sign.

Wow dude, you're a fucking dick.

End of story.

Welcome to the club LOL.

We all had at east once a controller problem. So we googled, we read, we experimented.

1. Try JS only. if it works start adding throttle and pedals.

2. Try different joystick.

3. Run WW2OL on different PC with CH.

Narrow down the problem so you can fix it. If you can't, it's not a big problem BTW.

Some people fly with keyboard, for AFVs and ATGs keyboard+mouse is actually better, especially for long range shots.

Airwar in WW2Ol is brutal, unless you are in a squad, your flight will be like this - take off, 7-10 minutes flight -KIA. Guys sitting on teamspeak will rip you apart. And some of them spent a couple of years flying together.  Oh and they use track-IR (i think they spent around 1K on their virtual cockpits LOL). So it's the most unfair part of the game IMO.

Hi Alowe!

The is sure a joystick calibration routine in WWII Onlinne.

Heres where you find it: When you start up the game will you first end up at a page where you can chose between logging in on the live server or the training server or just chose the off-line mode.

Below these three buttons will you find three buttons that says "clear password", "Settings" and "Read Me" (that is at least the UI on the Mac version).

Chose "Settings" and you will be able to calibrate your joystick (it is here you set your resolution and other stuff as well). You can plug in and calibrate up to four joysticks or what else you need to play WWII Online.

Btw, I have used a CH Fighterstick with WWII Online since 2003 and it works flawlessly. If the game isn't able to recognise your stick is my guess that you have something else connected to your computer (like a dongle) that interfere with the stick.

Timmy, please chill off will you.

The more you know, the more you know you don't know.

I have played on a trial account twice...once at launch and again not too long ago. Would have subed but couldn't get my friends to all go along. Anyway, every time I have played I have never had any trouble getting someone to give me some help. In fact, many people went above and beyond to try to help me in game with what would have seemed like very trivial issues. I commend them. If you have a little patience, you might find someone willing to help.

Now, as to your problem with your joystick, I would say you are doing something wrong. I have used CH joysticks and recently Saitek joystick without ever having a problem configuring them. Since I am not currently playing, I can not get in the game to tell you how you should proceede. But, again, I think if you ask the right person in the game you could get the help you need. Also, as a suggestion, find a "clan" that is willing to help new people. There seems to be a lot of those around.

Anyway, my two cents so good luck!

Give me an MMO without leveling and grinding. Please don't disappoint!

Ok, but it might have been nice if someone at least replied and told me that.  But I suppose that would have been too much to ask for.

Oh Well.

Well you probably asked at a time where people were not watching the help channel and those who were, didn't have an answer for you. Besides help channel is players helping players. It's just a normal channel all players can join which is dedicated to helping new players learn the game.

Now the problem here is what technical people would label a "User Problem". The reason it's a "User Problem" is because the user is the one with the problem, not the game. If other players can play the game with their CH joysticks, and you can't.....why does it have to be the game is broken?....I guess because you said so....

I suggest you figure out whats wrong on your side, or you'll miss out on a possibly great game (depends on your taste and what you are looking for in the end).

The best thing about WWII Online / Battleground Europe.....It filters out those impatient whiney little squeeky kiddies and the impatient weirdos who haven't matured enough yet. If you ain't one of those people....prove it by cooperating and accepting peoples help and not whining about how the game sucks and how people don't want to help you because they didn't answer you, and how the devs don't care about you cause you can't access the forum. There are many other ways to get in touch with the developers. Submit a support ticket from the support page. The devs don't really care for your subscription, if you're going to be an annoying pesky customer. They want their community to remain as it is, clean enjoyable, mature, positive and fun.
