i played WoW ages ago when it first came out and there is so much shit i can say about it which will offend most members of that community so i may as well not say it.

i am not going to play runescape anymore unless they bring the original wilderness back and remove the trade limit.

right now i just play guild wars. guild wars has the best pvp and is not as time consuming and demanding as other games like WoW and Runescape. (unless you go for the titles in guild wars...)

Runescape was better like 2 Years ago (except for the Graphics)

I miss the old runescape. anyways, jagex doesn't really read anything that players post. so i can pretty much guarentee that Jagex isn't going to read this. They don't even really read many of the threads on their own forums, so why would they read this. They someitmes skim over some threads just to find which posts to hide/lock.

Cyclops is very desciptive of Jagex, certainly a one eyed group of developers/mods since they control forums, contact  complaints aswell as Jagex contact aswell - I got replies from all three complaing of a lot of genuine stuff only to be replied to by the same people. Jagex definitely control Forums and remove a lot of genuine complaints while leaving known complaints like 'kids loosing wildy' in, knowing this would be a common complaint they couldn't simply remove.

Playing over five years I didn't have time to max all stats probably as I stopped so often to help people and also I built up a great friendship yet I estimate I probably had to delete over 300 good friends that quit in order to make room for new good friends, this included two genuine Mods of which Jagex removed ones Mod-state since she wanted to help a friend get his gear back from his old account after the trade limit was in as they weren't on during that - Jagex never ever try to be fair.

As far as Wildy going is concerned I was glad as it stopped me from working better on my stats like runecraft since at best I had to use Zanaris for making nats until no pking mad abyss better, ghosts were ok. The Bounty Hunter etc to me is wasting my time but TY I now know why I lost my clue rewards dead there looking about.

Not so strange is how PVP is what destroys a lot of games as many of us have no time for there and contrary to some comments it was kids there so inconsiderate that annoyed me in the wild and those of us without huge groups of real life friends playing at the same time couldn't ever do PVP things as it is never fair to us at the other end of the world.

Yes Jagex is a very one-eyed group. All the mods act and think the same way. Not much diversity in thought at all. So closed minded.

To be honest I didn't pk that often in the old wilderness but when I did I enjoyed the freedom, and the excitement of the wilderness. Any time a clan could come out and attack. It was pure freedom and it was that raw element of extinct and freedom that made it fun. Bounty hunter just doesn't match up.

When I was younger, and less understanding of the rules, I used to macro day and night my mining, firemaking, and woodcutting. This post is ironic, because I would report rulebreakers quite a bit, and they didn't know apparently that I was a heavy macroer, but they made me a player mod. SOOOO if you don't believe me, search my name on the internet. My name is on a stolen list of mods. I was a macroer and yet made a player mod. I guess that kind of proves your point, eh?

Yea I knew many mods that should not have been mods on that game. The way Jagex monitored things on that game was a complete joke. I knew 11 yr old kids that were player mods and they shouldn;t even have been on the game at the time because it had a 13+ age rule.  Most mods I knew didn't even care about what Jagex said or did to them.  They did what they wanted to do because they felt like it!  Their report system is broken and sad.

Thanks for proving our point. For all those who think Jages is super awesome. Jagex does make mistakes and lots of them. Although I suppose we all do. I admit I've made lots of mistakes. But Jagex seems so stubborn. They aren't willing to change or make up for their mistakes. They won't even acknowledge that they've made any.

Not to say that all player mods should not have been player mods. But they are a substantial number of them that shouldn't not have been player mods. Most of which were under 13 at the time they were modded.

Actually you are completely correct. Being that I was formerly a Player Mod myself (I quit because of all the idiots, jerks, and egotistical zeros) I know about the general populous. We have the 25% jerks, the 10% idiots, the 3% really stupid idiots, the 10% control freaks and the 20% goody two shoes (and of course, quite a few that were a mix of more than one of the above.) There was one to top them all however... BERTHA. She negated everything I said on the forums, berated every one of the mods constantly, acted like she owned the place, and was the Self-Appointed queen of all Player Mods. God I wanted to kick her ass.

Other than that, the 32% that weren't any of the above mostly ignored everyone except fellow mods; the general rule was never to talk. Because of the fact talking would reveal that you were a mod, they never did, unless they wanted hundreds of newbs crowding around them asking these types of questions and making these statements; and trust me, none were ever different than these seven:

It is the mods being irresponsible, and it is the people of the community acting like complete morons. I couldn't take being bashed for trying to help the community by muting people and getting them banned. Every time I made a mistaken mute, I would get berated by Jagex and the player I muted. Every time I muted a racist idiot or someone swearing their head off I got nothing. I am a social person and liked to talk so being unrewarded for restricting myself from doing what I love was not my idea of fun.
