    • i beta tested the game for ... about 3 days and got bored. then 6 months later said "oh i might have not given it a chance" and did the 14 day trial for .... yeah 2 days and got bored. This isn't "Lord of the Rings". It's a poor excuse for them to make money and slap a name brand on it. Go read the books, this has nothing to do with LOTR.

    • Ive been playing mmorpg since 1998 and testing every one I can. At first I was driven to DAOC being the best mmorpg I could have played but when I start playing Turbine game seeing how much alive their game was with new update and so interesting stories I couldnt stop and even today after many years Turbine stay in my best mmorpg because they actualy make them feel alive. Of course you will have to kill tons of different beast but im in the early 30 with my captain and I am fighting giant troll which is getting very interesting. The best of Turbine that often other game forget is the story and they are on the top of the list for that. Keep up the good work Turbine!

    • You ever notice how a mmo is supposed to keep you interested for ever? Can anyone comment on what they liked instead of posting nothing but negatives? I don't play on the pve side but I know it's polished and well done. Anyone who loves the rings will have fun playing the game. Monster play has kept me interested for 6 months but if I ever tire of it I know the pve game is there as well. But when I tired of it all I will just move to the next game. Instead of seeing how critical I can get about the game I just spent a part of my life enjoying.

    • By 'trats' I mean, of course, 'rats', LOL.

    • It's all very well adding new quests and new dungeons (as the LotRO team insists on doing for every new update), but as long as I'm uninterested in being in Middle Earth I won't be picking up the game anymore. The devs have to look at making the game actually fun to be in day-to-day, otherwise people aren't going to care enough to do the new quests. Currently there's no reason to get together with other players and socialize. We need a reason to be there that goes beyond more and bigger trats to kill.

    • Thats one thing I disliked about the beta. While it was a solid beta and released very solid, for almost all levels you fought animals. Even in your upper 30's (as high as I got) you were still fighting bears and wolves, same as level 5. I do like how story-driven their content patches are. Certainly better then content patches from say WoW, but IMHO not as good as CoX's content patches. Unfortunately I burnt myself out in beta for the game and just haven't been able to come back to the game.

    • ite easy for people to get bored and leave LOTRO because their charactors have nothing to aspire to, a 1st level char and a 50th level are still doing the same rat killing. when 50s should be building cities castles and armies same for crafters still building swords and hammers when high levels should be building, buildings and siege weapons. this game is alot like earth and beyond and may fall to the same fate.

    • can i say 4th? or does it not count since gatheris kinda broke the chain... you know stating your post number adds +10 fire dmg to ePeen.
