    • Overall one of my favorites. The gameplay is great, while the community is even better. You can play any job available on one single character, allowing you to switch jobs between them all.

    • I liked this game but it was tuff to get used to. Its not user friendly at all, the community wasn,t as friendly as LotRO. And overall i think its a bit outdated. Square Enix needs to develope another MMO.....PLEEEZZZ ;)

    • A common complaint of this game is how often you run into people with the same face as your character. One thing I want to point out is that there are 64 unique character models in this game, with an additional 64 color variations. The graphics in this game have stood up to the test of time as well. The look and feel of the world and its inhabitants provide excellent immersion. One thing about this game is that it makes you do a quest to unlock just about any feature you can think of. Some people might find this annoying and tedious, but the end effect is that you are being constantly rewarded from your efforts. Some character classes are not noob friendly (ex: Ranger) while others provide a less stressful experience (ex: Melee classes)

    • If you were turned off by slow leveling and lack of parties you may want to give it a try now. They have upped the experience from mobs lower level than you by a large margin. They have also added level sync, allowing higher level players to sync down to lower level players. • Very special game. Don't put it down unless you have spent a solid month trying it on for size. This game is not for the faint of heart... in other words, it is a serious game; ergo, most of those people who give this game horrible reviews have either been victim of a one night stand, or are afraid of an exemplary gaming experience. Whatever the game's weaknesses, its strengths (those being the emersive storyline, the stylistic continuity, and SE's other subtle magical qualities) are far more noteworthy. This is one of the few addictions I am somewhat proud to admit to, as well as endure.

    • I just don't like it. It's not for me.

    • For the years that I have played Square-Enix's Final Fantasy XI, it can be a great game. Only if you are devoted to it. Sound and enviroment settings are stellar. However, the character models are slim and you can be running into the same face as yours pretty often. Unfortunately, again only devotion can get you far into this game, as levelling and just getting there can take up a few hours out of the day. But a large community and with easy ways to get ahold of them puts FFXI top of the list.

    • I could never get into it. I actually yawned quite a few times, and everybody is a cookie-cutter, basically. The soundtrack and graphics are nice, though.

    • This game has great detailed graphics, multiplatform, detailed in depth storyline, loads and loads of ENDGAME! The average person never beats it all, top notch community. HARD GAME! Very hard to level, very hard to adapt to, don't play if you're a WoW fan.
