Game-Wolf writes: good trailer and game this is Star Trek at it's best but they should have shown some space batteles in the clip. Tue Feb 02 2010 8:26PM
CujoSWAoA writes: I suppose that looks alright. But the lack of a Cover System really stands out in a game like this. Especially since every time I saw a Star Trek episodes where laser guns were shooting off, people were always hiding behind... cover. Tue Feb 02 2010 8:28PM
Tokken writes: Looks cool, but I know that it minor compared to the ship to ship action Tue Feb 02 2010 8:51PM
Tokken writes: meaning.... ship action 75 percent. away team action 25 percent Tue Feb 02 2010 8:52PM
EricDanie writes: Phew, at least this trailer was related to its title, differently from the exploration trailer that featured mostly combat. Wed Feb 03 2010 12:08AM
AmazingAvery writes: I brought a lifetime sub to the game I really, really like it. I will say though the ground combat is not good AT ALL. Glitchy, AI is really CRAP, croutching to get better shot glitches and WASD gets reversed - pretty FUBAR some of the time. Other times it works really well. Definately a rush job here. Wed Feb 03 2010 12:19AM
Guillermo197 writes: The whole game is rushed Avery. I lost count how many times my NPC crew got stuck in the terrain. In space it ain't any better. As especially in asteroid belts, the NPC ships are often stuck inside large rocks. But that's what you get with a Automatic content generation tool! Wed Feb 03 2010 1:43AM
Crichton writes: I dunno why people are complaining about cover, you can duck behind objects since weapons require line of sight. So even the enemy A.I. has to decide to move around to get to you or risk exposing themselves to fire. You also can dodge attacks by double tapping direction movement to roll/dive out of the way. So far the away team A.I. has been decent. My medical officer dishes out the heals as needed, and my engineer is spot on for dropping mines whenever his ability isnt on cooldown. You can also command them so if they are on an off target or just kinda doing something else you can focus them on a target or move around. It's not perfect, no but its not half bad. Binko writes: Not looking good for a game coming out 2010. It look like SWG and that game is old. =/ Wed Feb 03 2010 4:07AM
punchrx writes: Atleast his game has ground combat Wed Feb 03 2010 11:24AM
Eqvaliser writes: is it only about combat both on ground and in space, not deeper rpg element. alliances, tradeing, massive starsystems ? Wed Feb 03 2010 1:01PM
Wizardry writes: Ever notice in all these PVP games, that everyone is just standing out in the open ? Ya ok here i am i will run right at you and make myself an easy target lol,VERY poor pvp/map designs. Wed Feb 03 2010 2:24PM

tkobo writes: Far too funny . Ensign:"Capt, the enemy is charging us !" Capt:"Quick ensign, set your phaser to wound , and shoot him 14 times ! " Fri Feb 05 2010 7:08PM
Stellos writes: I like the trailer. Nice Star Trek action. I would need a free trial though before investing in the software STO. Fri Feb 05 2010 9:29PM
ambushbug73 writes: I agree with you Stellos. It looks promising, but after some of the stinkers that have dropped over the last year or two I would need a free trial before I would dish out money for the game. I'm sure they will over one soon enough. Me and my wife and another couple we play with are anxious to give it a go. Mon Feb 08 2010 1:59PM
celee2222 writes: dont be fooled - any of you!! this game is tripe Tue Feb 09 2010 7:32AM
Deryk writes: Ground combat IS fun in STO. I enjoy it alot, especially the public area where you have to defeat the Klingons on the ground in the Xarantine Sector. Had a blast there with other players! It was easy to get into and quite easy to form up teams. Everyone worked together for a common goal; to defeat the Klingons. Wed Feb 10 2010 11:21AM
describable writes: way better than PoTBS.. always difficult to include 2 different play styles into an MMO. I like the switch between.. gives a little break from my frequently glowing star ship Mon Feb 15 2010 6:12PM
