And you are correct, ad blockers are a major issue and will eventually result in a "paid" Internet much like cable TV.
If you don't like a websites ad practices (we think ours are very polite) then stop visiting the website. Ad blockers are no different than stealing.
Hello Guys, I am really sorry about this. Normally I have to approve ALL ads that go live here. I do not allow annoying ads like this and I strictly forbid the use of audio (unless it is user initiated and fitting, like playing a trailer).
Apparently the advertiser had a "core" flash ad that was streaming in the meat of the ad from an outside source - something we allow, but we still require approval of all changes.
Long story short, the ads are shutoff and the advertiser will need to comply before we can turn them back on.
Again, I am very sorry and I think our long time members know this kind of advertising is not our style.
