I play WoW for 4 years now and ive been waiting for WoTLK since its announcement, but I am terribly disappointed with this expansion. First of all, everyone can see its unfinished, we can see that the dev team was clearly pressed for an earlier launch, the game is very poor item wise, i managed to level from 70 to 80 and there was only 2 different skins in my armor type (plate), the pvp itemization for lvl 80 is still not implemented, so there is no real rewards for now. I stopped going to instances because every boss drops 3 items, lol, 3 items, using the same skins as every quest rewarded item. As soon as I reach lvl 80 ppl start raiding, and who would have known, we clean naxx on the first week, its too damn easy. Lets speak about crafting now, there are no rewards or recipes to collect we are for now, except maybe one or 2 professions, limited to what the trainer teaches. What about those functions they promissed us and are not there, like new dances for instance. I wonder, its this what Blizzard can do in 2 FULL years developing? what the hell, did blizzard pulled all developers to Diablo 3? When will we get more content, more recipes, more item skins, more balanced raiding. Did blizzard learn nothing about releasing unfinished games from the competition?
Jesus H man, learn to take a break from the game from time to time would be my suggestion. All I hear out of this whole post is "I want more, I want more, blah blah blah." The only thing Blizzard failed at was meeting the expectations of a child who is most likely never satisfied with anything. How about exploring some content and enjoying the game whilst spending time with your friends rather than roaring through it so you can fucking stand in Ogrimmar and have noobs drool over your gear. Lol
Nah, I am going to cancel I think. I was an ardent supporter of WAR when it first released because the game was a great deal of fun with the PQ's etc. It has taken me a few months to realize that I just don't like the game. ![]()
Here's hopinig this game is fun and not Darkfail. ![]()

I am realizing it's no sandbox either. Crafting is also just a addon. They made it clear crafting is not high on their list.
I fear Bioware is following the WoW formula.
The cartoony direction will turn me away quick if they plan to go the kiddie direction.
I never played WoW because of the cartoony style, and that will also go for this game if that's what they are heading for.
Bioware is going to fail bigtime if they WoWify KOTOR
Lets hope they don't
IF WE WANT WOW WE WILL PLAY WOW!
Well, at least I still have EVE. Kudos to CCP for having the nads to make an MMO not following WoWs shadow.
Lol, I felt the same way. Whenever I see them mentioning "heroic" or using "heroic archetypes" for the classes it makes my skin crawl. Maybe I want to be like Porkins in Ep 4 and just be a fat fuck who lumbers around the universe eating and flying my x-wing. It makes the universe seem dead to me to see the same chisel jawed guys running around with unbelieve physiques. Ugh, and I can't wait till they introduce loot based crafting which is again an epic fail. I was so excited about the announcement of this game and everything I'm seeing afterward is turning me off.
I hate to say this but the more information that comes out about this game, the less and less I get excited about it. I really hope they implement a fun and useful crafting system or I'm not even going to bother playing. WAR and AoC both took the route that crafting is not an essential part of the core game and it definitely lessened my enjoyment of both games. I don't particularly love the crafting in WoW either as most of the professions are useless.
As far as the saber models etc. they have said that they want an "epic" feel to the look of the game so that players feel as if they are living a hero's journey. I understand the desire for that but again, I don't want to see people running around with 2 ft. lightsabers just so they can show them off. If the sabers are looted items I'll be further bummed out as this completely eliminates lore at all. Now, taking a saber from another jedi is a bit different but for god's sake don't let lightsabers drop off mobs that have no reason to have them.
