Aion's graphics are gorgeous! The thing with Aion is simply the attention to detail in everything. Screenshots don't really do the real game justice but here are a few that I have taken during obt just for some of you to see. These were taken in 1449x900 full settings, full AA, etc...

Aion for me, so yeah, 2009 is promising.
Heh...I was thinking the exact same thing ;)
This is pretty normal for companies to "guess" at a release date and post it on their website. The devs have all stated several times that the game won't be out until 2009 at the earliest.
TCoS was originally planned as a PvE game (except for Shard conquest and battlegrounds type scenarios) but at the game convention a month or two ago, they announced that they will also make PvP servers for the game (ffa I believe). Other than that, I can't say much more about it (See signature as to why).

Actually I'm surprised with all the homebrew DS stuff nobody's done it there yet...
I always thought the idea of playing an MMO on a handheld would rock. Provided you had a wireless connection, you could play it from anywhere.
