    Oh if anyone's still confused here just go look at death knight screens against a northrend back drop.  That's my wow, not some 1 out of 1000 barf gear it probably took him all day to find.  We normally have our graphics higher than 640 x 480 too.  If you like a game with missing spell effects and one that looks like someone overlayed a gray screen on everything and has boring ass pvp then play war.

    WAR actually has a lot more armor sets than WoW that change toons visibly.

    that gear looks pretty good, but it is not high end

    plus, you can color every piece of armor seperatly, and every piece has 2 seperate zones for dyes.

    even better: you can add trophies (visible... well, trophies) to your armor. 5 trophies at one time you can change, rotate, mix up, reuse and so on. e.g. kill enemy king, have his crown dangling from your chainmail

    try that in WoW

    I have an agenda: I want to push WAR because I see for myself in beta that this game delivers and that it is a great fun

    sure I could choose much worse WAR screens from early beta, but everyone has seen those. (actually this screen is not from me but from another player)

    what you are basically saying is that the comparism is unfair, because the way I've compared them, they don't look alike any more.

  • GW has several fantastic story lines,

    working PvP,

    working guild battles,

    even RvR in Alliance battles,

    complex skill system

    armor dyes (heh)

    great PvE

    kept ALL its promised

     

    AoC even for free is a PoS

    Are you an active subscriber to AOC? If your answer is no, how can you honestly give people what you call the "Truth".

     

    I was a subscriber. that is the reason why I want to keep others from making the same mistake.

    what I do is only bad if you think AoC deserves 50 bucks from clueless noobs who have heard AmazingAvery talk too often about AoC's greatness

     

    I am not trolling, I just deliver news of the games rapid decline even in the rating system.

    just because it makes you mad to read this bad news, doesn't mean my intentions are to make people upset.

    this is a warning about a failed product
