| Biography | If I have to add "in my opinion" to an opinion piece one more time.. |
| Quote | I lose more stars than a hollywood speedball convention. |
Unlike how I react on the forums, I am a very friendly guy in games. I make alot of friends in the various mmo's I play, friends that I hold very dear (a good friend is rare indeed).
Many stand out and many walk away into the sunset.
Often leaving me sad as though a real life friend has passed whatever and must go.
Today I take a look at those dear lost friends and those we carry with us in our mmo's.
I've lost so many online friends over the years, not a biggy to most, but to me an online gaming buddy is the same as a real life one.
That is if they make it to my "list" of those I trust.
My system has never failed me, I've had great friends and never a snake in the grass, at all.
My friends in games I will always do whatever I can to help (much like real life) until it comes to the point where I am no longer helping them but enabling them or weakening them (power levelling extensively, giving too many nice items, etc)
Of course I never expect my buddies to do the same, but there is always something nice when the guy you helped from new player status to vet comes back to you and thanks you for all you've done.
It just makes me warm.
So lets here how you guys make friends!
Tell me (us, them...those guys) how you manage your social in game life.
Do your friends become important to your gaming experience?
Can you play without them?
I really do want to know!

I have never had a problem with moderation on this site. I know the mods arent prefect but I tend to point the finger towards the people complaining about moderation.
The site has nothing to gain by blindly banning people or their threads for no reason. They have an acceptable use of the forums policy --- read it.
odds are you made a personal attack or you went off topic.
Hmm my only problem with this sites moderation is in the off topic section which clearly dictates possible offensive topics.
Yeah when they get ban happy in there they really do. I dodged a few bullets thanks to Laura and actually understanding what the OT was about .
Outside of that you are fair game, most mods on MMORPG.com are great, there are two of them that I swear to allah himself who dislike what I say. But whatever it's not like I haven't made a new account every other year for the past 5 years anyhow. I'm truly amazed Astropuyo has been left alone despite the racey topics I jump into.

Ive heard the reason they stoped the progress of making UO2 is because they want to make more money off UO, which really donsnt make much sience. Im now currently playing Eve-Online its the best graphics but would quit it n a second to play uo2
I think you are exactly right here...it was about the money. They had a steady income from the UO players...why split that or possibly loose some by releasing a game that would compete with it's own UO. Releasing some crap expansion on UO was a far better money grab, and cheaper than creating a whole new game.
I like many was very upset to hear the cancellation of UO2. I remember loggin onto the UO2 forums one day n reading that post n thinking it was some kinda joke. I think the AoS release in '3d' (if that is what you want to call it), was an attempt at appeasing the players they shafted with canning UO2.
AoS ruined the game to me. It just became, to me, a Diablo clone. All about dungeon crawling for the next peice of 'Uber gear' , then sellin it for some insane amount of money.
EA BOUGHT Origin before UO was released, I was in the beta. My beta CD's have a EA seal and a OSI seal. (Origins Systems Inc). I remember distinctly agreeing in writing no less to EA/OSI ToS for this first time ever projects, a massive multiplayer rpg!
T2A <--- Much needed as many were getting sick of kids like me killing them for their regs.
3rd dawn <-------------hats the one that was to appease the UO2 people It had the Meer and what not.
LBR <---------- The story of UO2 is right freaking there. LBR is UO2's story just localized for UO1
AoS <---------- Whine all you want about it, once LBR came out it ws bound to happen.
Samurai crap <--------to appeal to the growing Asian market (See Japanese shard population @ release of samurai empires.
AoS had little or nothing to do with uo2, it ws LBR that was the rip.
Get your abortions of UO right.

Wrong.
The BEST villains are British.

That is not true at all. Just because someone thinks a god exists doesn't mean the god does exist. It just means someone thinks they do. Thought does not equate with reality. I cannot think I am in love with someone - I have to BE in love with someone. Plus, that someone must be real too, because if they aren't, the love isn't real.
A God is real if the God reveals Itself to be. YHWH (Yahweh) has done just that through the Bible/His Son.
Blessings,
You see, you and me have far more in common than me and him or you and him. All you have to do is realize that the Bible is no different from many books that have claimed to be the word of God, and that Jesus is no different than many others who have claimed to be the son of God (better than some, sure). And then we're in the same place.
How many serious books on apologetics have you read?
I take a class on apologetics.
Its not really convincing, and the evidence is suggestive and cherry picked.
And yes the bible is very similar to other dogmas, and the view of God as well. The description of him fits the role of a divine ruler with ethics suitable for that time period.(Which we consider primitive) But to say that a God of the universe has these characteristics is barbaric.
What serious books on apologetics have you read?
How many have you written?
Take that commie pinko!
Now why would that be?
Lets go on a journey of greed.
See, the more doctors charged, the more valued the schooling became and thusly we get the 300k bill to become a doctor, now thats not all in the end they'll be getting paid to go to school as well.
It's not like they are starving dorm kids, they make great money as students.
Now that you are a bit more informed you'd probably agree medicine is more about $$$ than it is <3<3<3.
But you are right, they didn't have to pay 500k+.
Does that make it all the more better?
Do you Role Play?
