* While going over the data collected for renown gained by healing, we discovered a few incorrect values that led to players earning far more renown than designed. To ensure equal renown gains for players regardless of their chosen career and whether they group or not inside scenarios, we have made several adjustments to the way renown is granted from healing other players:
o Earning renown from healing players was erroneously granting renown while outside of RvR. This has been adjusted so getting renown for healing players outside of RvR or from a player that is not RvR flagged will occur less frequently.
o Healing players will grant renown correctly if the healed player has earned renown from killing other players recently.
Come on Mythic. I got a rank 22 Rune priest, but have temporarly switch to an alt Witch Hunter due
to the boring job of healing people in Scenarios. Nerfing the renown points doesn't make the healer
class more intresting.
I agree that the numbers will change after the free month is over ...
BUT ......
a) WARs game client is the most stable I've ever seen ..
b) Game mechanics are polished and workings very well ...
c) The RvR thing with Tiers etc is really bringing people together AND
is a good motivator to continue to play.
Frankly, so far I've never felt like "damn I've done everything .. what now?"
Instead I feel like "holy crap, there are so many things to do ... what shall I do now?"
Last night I had to force myself from not doing RvR together with people
since it's so fun that I forget to level my rank.
I think we will see a very small drop of players .. and then a monthly increase
of 50.000 - 100.000 players per month.

i had the worst experience ever with the destros.
in the scenarios oder won almost 95% of the time. Destros has a lot of noob players. they tend not to heal, ot to buff nothing.made me really angry.
My feeling is that people who play on the Destruction side like more offensive PvP and there
for lack good support (healers etc), while Order seems to have plenty of players who love the
support classes.
I myself is specing my Rune Priest purely for healing, trying to max out my willpower.
And it really pays out in combat. I can't count the times I saved my fellow brothers
from certain death ![]()
I play as a Rune Priest (rank 16, name "Bamse") on an EU server called Karag Orrud.
It's one of those servers where Destruction dominate the population, mostly outnumbering us.
This is just a greeting to my excellent brothers in arms. Destruction maybe dominate the
skirmish keep fights, but in the scenarios we tend to kick there butts. At least on my shift.
I'm not sure, but in the scenarios Order people seems to be more organized and
have alot more healers.
But just a few tips when playing the T2 Temple scenario. When we got the artifact,
retreat back to our camp, don't bring the fight to the enemy camp WITH the artifact.
And if you are a nuker, getting jumped, but healed by your fellow brothers ... please
don't try to fight your gankers on the spot just because you are healed .. get
to safety cause your healers are using up all there AP just to keep you alive.
And if you are healer and one of your brothers die midway or close to the
enemy camp, please USE your resurrection spell.
Cheers,
Rune Priest .... Everyone loves you, burst healing and hard to kill ...
Did I mention the cool spells ?
