    You know what I think is amazing?  You "blind nay-sayers"  complain that the developers at Funcom "didn't make anything NEW ^.^" for this contest.

    Yet, if they HAD made something NEW ^.^ then you nay-sayers would've just turned around and complained that they wasted time on making new gimmicky items, instead of "fixing all the problems, kekekeke."

    If you don't like Age of Conan.... GREAT.  Go, do, something, else.

• • Guild Wars 2 under hyped

  • Its hard to get hyped about a game that doesn't hype itself...

    I haven't heard anything about that sequel since the day it was officially announced. 

    I liked a lot about the original Guild Wars, but never stuck with it for very long because I don't like games that are that linear in their world design. If it'd been a traditional world that allowed you to explore lands, it would've been awesome.

    I don't expect anything new from part 2, just new graphics.

    You know what would be good news? DX10 being implemented successfully. Once its done its good news. Before hand, not so much.

     

    Posts like this are so ridiculous. You don't even have the slightest idea what you're talking about.  You've fallen in with the herd of negative nancies and you're just chuggin along beside them. 

    DX10'll be on the test servers, they'll iron out the rest of the huge bugs, and it'll hit the Live servers not long after that.

    And it'll be grand.  "Oe noes!"

    I got my DX10 machine, buying a graphics card for it here soon.

    Going out on a limb here and suggesting that the screenshot is a concept drawing from the Club that the intern is mentioning working on for the game. "Metamorphosa" or whatever.

    The original, X-Wing...... (Not TIE Fighter, not XvT, not XwA... those were not hard).

    and its expansions

    "B-Wing" and "Imperial Pursuit."

    hardest PC games I ever played, and entirely worth it. REAL Star Wars, which is a long forgotten concept from LucasArts now.
