Wow, sounds like they need to just put a level up button in the game.

And they didn't even mention the phasing in WotLK. Hmm.. I have never thought like this before, seems fishy.
If it wasn't mentioned in the blurb about it in the article, it wasn't mentioned on the expansion promotional webpage, but I'm glad to see you've got the conspiracy helmet on.
Just because you don't agree with our choices doesn't mean there's "something fishy".
If I am reading this correctly, he doesn't say that disagreeing with their choices doesn't mean there's NOT something fishy either. Hmmm..... What could he mean by leaving that open like that? Maybe Stradden is sending us mixed messages. It can only mean one thing... but what is it??
I think attacking someone on a personal level because of something they say about a video game is a direct reflection on your own maturity level. Reading through this thread, it's obvious that some people would rather attack the messenger than the message.
I don't know if DF has a real beta going or not. However, I do know that they (the company) have done very little over the years to inspire a great deal of trust in what they say. Their comments come across as dodgey at best. Asking anyone to hang on their every word or to have faith in what they are telling us is simply asking too much.
For DF, it's time to put up or shut up. The next month or two will be very revealing, and I'm guessing we'll see a lot more threads like this one.
1. Small confined zones/world
2. Crafting is a joke at best
3. Not nearly enough different armor sets
4. Shady dev team that rarely comes through on what they say
5. Mature games should be about more than boobs and beheading. Sadly, AOC is not.
Honestly, they're okay, but certainly not the best of any MMO. On the other hand, I'm not sure the DF devs set out to make the best looking graphics. What they have here is adaquate IMO -- not cutting edge, but probably middle of the road for current MMOs. There's no sense in getting all worked up and saying the graphics are the best or worst ever. Neither of those statements would be true.
How many players does an MMO need to be considered a success in today's market?
