    Biden played a very large bluff there with the small business claim. While many of the small business owner's "in-pocket" pay may be less than $250,000, he failed to mention those same business owners must pay personal income taxes on the gross income of the entire business.

    If you do not understand why, then you are one of those people he was hoping to fool. Take an introductory financial accounting class and you will understand why.

     

    Ok fine, if you want to be smart about it, the real number is closer to 40% of americans who would see higher taxes, the rest would either see no change or lowered taxes. But come on, everyone knows 95% is a bullshit percent that you only say if you think 99% isn't convincing enough.

    2. AHMEDINIJAD MEETING: Joe Biden lied when he said that Barack Obama never said that he would sit down unconditionally with Mahmoud Ahmedinijad of Iran. Barack Obama did say specifically, and Joe Biden attacked him for it.
    
    They never denied saying this at the debate, and when it was brought up in the presidential debate, Obama said he would meet without preconditions but NOT without lower level diplomacy.
    
    
    4. TROOP FUNDING: Joe Biden lied when he indicated that John McCain and Barack Obama voted the same way against funding the troops in the field. John McCain opposed a bill that included a timeline, that the President of the United States had already said he would veto regardless of it’s passage.

    The Maverick is afraid of a veto? And why is McCain against a PLAN? Isn't having a plan a good thing?
    
    5. OPPOSING CLEAN COAL: Biden says he’s always been for clean coal, but he just told a voter that he is against clean coal and any new coal plants in America and has a record of voting against clean coal and coal in the U.S. Senate.
    
    Clean coal is better than dirty coal, but no coal at all is even better than that. This is not a hard position to understand.
    

    6. ALERNATIVE ENERGY VOTES: According to FactCheck.org, Biden is exaggerating and overstating John McCain’s record voting for alternative energy when he says he voted against it 23 times.

    The term "Exaggerating" makes it sound like there's some truth to it. Did he only vote against it 20 times?
    
    7. HEALTH INSURANCE: Biden falsely said McCain will raise taxes on people's health insurance coverage -- they get a tax credit to offset any tax hike. Independent fact checkers have confirmed this attack is false

    Independent fact checkers are morons. Biden said that McCain will raise taxes on the health care coverage PROVIDERS, resulting in dropping 20 million americans. They then replace their $12000 health care plan with a $5000 tax credit.
    
    8. OIL TAXES: Biden falsely said Palin supported a windfall profits tax in Alaska -- she reformed the state tax and revenue system, it's not a windfall profits tax.

    But the result was the same. Also she agreed with a decision to flat out reduce Exxon's liability for the Valdez incident.
    
    9. AFGHANISTAN / GEN. MCKIERNAN COMMENTS: Biden said that top military commander in Iraq said the principles of the surge could not be applied to Afghanistan, but the commander of NATO's International Security Assistance Force Gen. David D. McKiernan said that there were principles of the surge strategy, including working with tribes, that could be applied in Afghanistan.

    Palin called him McClellan. Nuff said.
    
    11. IRAQ: When Joe Biden lied when he said that John McCain was “dead wrong on Iraq”, because Joe Biden shared the same vote to authorize the war and differed on the surge strategy where they John McCain has been proven right.

    McCain is a failure as a strategist. The war was a good idea at the time, but its execution was abysmal up until the surge.
    
    12. TAX INCREASES: Biden said Americans earning less than $250,000 wouldn’t see higher taxes, but the Obama-Biden tax plan would raise taxes on individuals making $200,000 or more.

    I make $30,000. What's your point? Yes, Biden lied out his ass that "95%" of Americans and small businesses would benefit. It's closer to 60%. That's still a majority of Americans and a hell of a lot more than would benefit under McCain.

  • I'm sorry, but O'Biden (am I the only one who heard that?) completely destroyed Palin multiple times over. He even managed to score more hits on the drinking game than her, referring to himself in third person no less than 4 times, compared to Palin's only mentioning Hockey Moms once and her kids twice (and Biden's kid once)
    
    Biden completely called her and McCain out on being "Mavericks". News flash - it doesn't count as a nickname if you're the only one who uses it. She had NO response to the fact that McCain sided with Bush on literally everything that mattered. He pointed out how McCain's war strategy (well, bush's war strategy, but he voted for it) thus far has been a total failure aside from the surge tactics. She had no response.
    
    And taxes...my god the freaking tax issue. Here's the summary of the tax issue: McCain/Palin: Obama wants to raise taxes on the middle class. Obama/Biden: No we don't, you're smoking something.
    
    Seriously, 95% of intelligent people know Biden won that thing. On health care, on the economy, on the war, on taxes, EVERYTHING. Every last issue, Biden won, unless you make over $250,000 a year, he very clearly pointed out how McCain's policies will victimize the lower class and how Obama's policies were better.
