  • You guys aren't very friendly. Why so serious?

    Ok, just 1 question then. Can any of you DF followers tell me the system requirements? Come on, that's shouldn't be hard to answer for a game that's been in closed beta for 8 months and is just about to finish open beta and be released.  What are they??

  • Hey  guise, I'm just wondering if anyone has posted a review of the open beta yet? I heard it was ending in the beginning of December so I'm assuming there are some videos and reviews posted somewhere. Could someone please give me a link so I can check them out?

    Also, can anyone tell me how to preorder and what the system requirements are?

    Sorry for the newb questions, but I figured the DF forum would be the best place to ask.

    I'm so pumped that this game will be coming out in just a few more weeks!!!

  • Closed beta has been going on for over 8 months and you still aren't in it.  You don't know anyone else in the beta either.

    They announced 2 new waves of beta testers recently. You still haven't received an invite.  You still don't know anyone else in beta.

    The only reviews/leaks have come from anonymous testimonials posted by the developers and 2 clowns from Italy that run their own DF website.

  • Wow, people still believe DF is coming out soon despite the past 8 years.

    Let me spare you geniuses the suspense: Darkfall is not coming out in 2008. Open beta may start sometime soon, but it will be just like the closed beta-- which means you won't be in it.

    The bottom line is that you're never going to play Darkfall. Ever. And even if by some miracle you do, you'll be severely disappointed since it will be 2014 and you'll be playing a game with 1997 graphics.

    Those quotes was of course made by the beta testers. Been a week since beta release so just natural there been some feedback from them. It's very nice to read that the game seems to be all we wanted. Crafting seems very much like UO crafting and it was good fun.

     

    
     

    No, according to the devs DF has been in beta for about 8 months. They simply added more testers last week. Kinda weird that this is the first feedback we're getting, don't you think?
