same here. i've got the game downloaded and ready to fly. Just need a trial to get me going if anyone is feeling generous. Thanks lads ;) My email is garymc16@gmail.com . I'll probably be the only Irish person playing this game, meh.... ;)
Hey guys, i'd love a free trial of this game if anyone is willing to share ;) been wanting to play L2 for ages but the initial grind turned me off. Anyways, my email is garymc16@gmail.com if anyones feeling generous. Thanks in advance ;)
Pure lolage. Dingobois post above was edited. He didn't even say anything bad. Very poor...i do believe i will abandon this sell out of a site
Sweet. Thought i was gonna get flamed for that post. Man i hate biased crap like this. Really casts a shadow on the game for me. Any properly moderated forums you'd reccommend? I've just been using this website as a go-to guide...

But devs know about this but want to get the game into open beta before balancing
I highly doubt that, unless you can quote them. Open Beta is essentially a marketing ploy before a game goes live. Beta is generally only opened up after a game is pretty close to being ready for release, otherwise it can ostracize the potential subscriber base.
Personally, I think the devs thought the game was close to ready with the zone 3 update, but clearly that's not the case. These new changes are massive and need to be tested at least a month before open beta begins, IMO.

TaylorBalbi said it in one of the forum posts himself. I think it was the "So heres what we're doing blog" on the main site. Balance is secondary to getting overworld out. I really don't think they thought the game was ready tbh man. Devs who think the game is ready don't change core features of the game (in this case making the world persistant) Seems to me this idea was in the mill for a while.
Would you rather see a game release pushed back a year or have the game release witha few bugs that will be fixed?
