  • How can i trust a game that only allows 50 people into beta? Hell games in alpha have more players then that. Now i did read what the beta players said and to tell you the truth how can i trust that? Not saying i wont give Darkfall a try just saying that so far they have yet to show me any concrete info about this game. Now why should i play a game that keeps people out of the loop? Now i am sure a lot of people want to see this game succed but right now i really am unsure about this game.Now it would be nice if they released some unedited game play.

    Whatever the case may be this game right now is just drawing me away instead of in.

     Also you can make a death knight on the server you have a level 55 character and then transfer it over to a new server.  I'm pretty sure you can do that right now.  You might even be able to make a horde death knight even if you only have an alliance toon.  Don't take my word for that though as I might be very wrong.

    
     

    I play on a PvP server, I feel like the whole world should be a PvP zone with actual consequences pertaining to my character development and the world- put the "war" in Warcarft finally. Yeah I do know about the 55 thing, but I'm pretty sure the same rules still apply when creating a character.

    Ah I forgot about the PvP server restrictions.  DOH!

     

    For Death Knight pretty sure all you need is a level 55 any faction to make one on any server. Since now you are able to transfer PvE - PvP. I could be wrong about being able to create a Death Knight on any server, but i am certain you are able to though.

  • I always thought FPS(First Person "Shooter") was for anything dealing with guns no storyline no base stats no RPG related. Steelrose seems hell bent on destroying Oblivion whats wrong with Oblivion? I for one would never consider it an "FPS". Now you could say it is a hack and slash game but an FPS lets get real here you have no idea what game genres are. Stop trying to call an RPG an FPS just because you don't consider it what it really is and thats an RPG.

    Call Of Duty is an FPS Metal Gear Solid Online is an FPS Soldier Front is an FPS. FPS does not stand for First Person Stabber it stands for First Person Shooter you can't shoot a sword/axe/dagger etc etc. What because it has a Bow its a FPS? You should just stop with your crap now here is the real definition of an FPS for you.

  • I agree 100% that they ruined PvP with TBC i use to love those hours of pushing and pulling back in AV and the whole removing rank was a huge mistake the arenas should have never been. Now i never really got into the new PvE raids because i just didn't have the time i spent all my time getting those 10 levels between work/friends/family. I honestly refuse to play WoW again i think every 1-2 years we are going to have to repeat the 10 level grinds each time making it more time consuming. It took me around 8 months pre-bc to get 60 from 60-70 it took me around 6 months and i think it will take me over a year to get 70-80. So with that i just decided to call it quits i don't have time for a game that wants to raise the level cap every few years and not being able to even get 1/4 way through end game before a new expansion is released. Also the fact they want to charge $40 for the expansion which in my eyes just does not have enough content for it.

    In the end it is all up to you though you should not rely on other people to make decisions for you. I refuse to ask opinions on games now due to the fact everyone is just down talking them before they are released. I wont even ask for an opinion on coming vack to a game or trying a game that has been released for months/years. I prefere to make my own judgement and stick with it i don't like WoW due to the fact they change content way to much and for the most part it is for the worse. That is my own opinion and mine alone other people may hate the game for other reasons so thats why i don't ask for feedback on games just because i would rather try it out for myself.

    Just think about what you want then decide.

  • I think there are games that could kill WoW its just the fact that people 2nd guess them and don't even give games the chance and just push them aside like yesterdays news. I do think that sometime in the next few years there will be a game so well developed that WoW will just be like a bug that gets squished and tossed away. Now i can't say when this will happen but it will most certainly happen. The reason no cash shop game can live up to this is because well its a cash shop game and you will have to pay more then $15 a month to fully enjoy the game since you do not have access to everything in game. 

    The only thing in my MMO history i regret is leaving Final Fantasy XI to play WoW because my older bro said it was worth it. Now i think if people gave Final Fantasy XI a chance it could easily topple WoW but people don't like to be forced into grouping so people just over look it. I had more fun in 2 weeks on FFXI then i did the 3 years of playing WoW I'm just upset it took me 3 year to figure this out.

    All I'm saying is there are games out right now and even some in the future that have the the goods to kill WoW its just the fact as stated people just don't want to give WoW up since they have been playing for years and moving on to a new MMO just doesn't feel right.

    I have not played a single MMO since quitting WoW just because there are none that have that certain something. Now over the past few months i have been talking with some friends from FFXI and really considering going back since it is the only game that i ever had fun on. Right now its a 99% chance i will because i don't ever want to play WoW again it just gets boring after awhile and i don't play games that don't keep me entertained every second I'm playing. So again there are and will be WoW killers it just you the we as gamers have to give the games the chance they deserve.
