I agree, but you should learn to spell.
First you kept telling us how awesome AoC was, and now you are knocking this guys spelling..
Geez

Um no I didn't, over at AoC I defended it but never really was over the top with it. And yes I missed the part where he apologized for it, sorry just annoys me with all these kids who come onto the internet and don't know how to spell. Grant it, some don't speak English so I can understand in cases like this. Just hard to look past it when you are online, and reading/writing is the only option.
I would have to agree, currently have a level 21 hunter and 6 guardian. Been playing a little over a month, you have to take it slow and find people to group with/good kinship. Instead of going out and grinding/questing I take my time and enjoy the scenary, and like to RP a little.

So, I decided to give LoTRO another try. The last time I played it it's boredom level was on the scale of free Korean MMORPGs for me. However, after some time maybe things would be different.
To begin with I'm choosing the 3.9gig (low-res) download instead of the high res 5.5gig or so one. Unfortunately, my DSL has a maximum of around 50 to 60 kbps so the smaller download is overall better for me. However, for some reason (despite picking the low-res version many times) it keeps picking a 5.5gig download instead.
Ok, fine. I decide to go with that then and simply begin downloading it. So a few days later the download completes and I go to install it but instead I get a corrupted file warning and the completed download is a complete waste. Meanwhile, the free trial is ticking away.
That is pretty frustrating and maybe that is but one of many reasons why LoTRO's population is simply not as great as it should be because of the IP recognition.
So Warning, anyone who wishes to play LoTRO but has a slower connection you might want to just find a disk or something otherwise you might just end up irritated. I know now that I won't even give the expansion a try because I cannot stand incompetent setup of large file downloads (why not smaller junks with each one verified then you move to the next???).
This is not Turbine's fault, any file you download can get corrupted. I get them everynow and then and it is not due to the way the file is setup for download, but rather pieces of the file that get skipped or corrupted from mis-data transfers.
I agree, but you should learn to spell.
Which console would you like to see MMOs released for?
