• • The Authority

  • This is a website founded by me and a couple of friends (The idea came from the one known as Landrik). As like-minded individuals we created a guild for a game that wasn't set to release for God knows when. We quickly decided to be a multi-gaming guild.
    
    BUT, we THEN decided to take it even further and try to attract people from all over the world to gather in a place where they can discuss anything and EVERYTHING, with The Authority running the show. No confinement. No censorship. We discuss everything from the highly controversial topics of politics and religion, to the more laid back topics such as cars and gaming. There's even a place to spam and ruthlessly flame people.
    
    There are a few rules and loose moderation, obviously because we don't want to become some mediocre 4chan spinoff. The likes of racism, sexism, etc. have no place here.
    
    Do us a huge favor? Check it out. Register and let the fun begin. Everyone who isn't a complete idiot is welcome. You don't even have to specifically be a gamer (at all).

  • Since when did graphics have everything to do with a game?

    It's called an independent developer. Not everyone can afford several hundred thousand dollar game engines. I can't say anything for the mechanics or gameplay, but graphics should NEVER be your deciding point for a game.

    It's insulting to see so many people that are that stupid to continuously complain about graphics. As an independent developer myself, I know what creating a game is like. It's not as easy as your job, sitting on your ass playing the games all day.

    Try and make a game yourself. Please. I'd love you to enlighten us with your amazing talent as a game designer. You obviously know what makes a good game.

  • Too often, do people think graphics are everything. Graphics are not the game. The graphics are only there to help present the game. The real game is within the mechanics.

    This shallow view of games so many idiots have, is really starting to irritate me.
