  • Ok nevermind I just saw the release date of "N/A". What the hell? There's been no news article since 2006? Why should we be so pumped about this game if it's not even out yet and it's just another mediocre free MMO grindfest from our wonderous friend mother korea?

  • Snail games needs a kick in the teeth. It's obvoius they've got a lot of their employees signing up for this and rating the damn thing. I"ve seen it before on other sites. They Cheat on THEIR OWN GAMES. And in their forums and websites they censor everything including their own employees. And I don't mean bad stuff, I mean whatever they want. Especially if it proves them to be corrupt. I've posted on their forums screens of their moderators destroying the game, killing unarmed players IN NON PVP ZONES for fun and stealing their items. ITEMS THEY PAID FOR AT THE ITEM MALL.

     

    I've since retired from VCO, I've never encountered so much corruption and such a powerful example of the degredation of humanity as I have in this game and its parent company. I've wasted 3 years of my life in there and they never let me get above the 3rd rank until about 6 months ago. Many of the ppl that go around posting positive things work for the company, and are being paid to say those things.

     

    Many players are afraid of their websites too. Apparently they use some kind of hack on Xfire to lure you into a website and get your personal info. Credit cards, criminal records, family, everything. I've heard and SEEN ppl go after each other in real life, I myself have been threatened personal harm by high ranking members of this company and I for one just won't sit there and watch this happen. Someone needs to stop IGG and their criminal actions. I mean, when people are going and fighting each other IN REAL LIFE over a game it's bad, but when a game company JOINS IN, that's the worst.

     

    My good friend's husband played the game. he was abusive and controlling. he actually BRAINWASHED her just so he could have a guild in the game and ended up being part of a terrorist network that's using this game to train themselves for brainwashing and blending in with different cultures. Apparently VCO is a training ground for middle eastern terrorist and jihadists. She managed to get away from him, but when she told me this story I couldn't believe her, if I hadn't known her so well I don't think I would have believed it.

     

    So tell me why a company and game like this should even be legal? The germans don't have this problem with their game. AND IT'S THE SAME GAME CALLED BOUNTY BAY ONLINE AND IT'S FREE.

  • Thanks I've played EVE and I like it just don't want to have to pay (I'm cheap). But I may pay for Darkfall when it comes out, I checked it out and joined the community, then got banned for expressing my opinions on guild alliances (so I may not join at all if they're going to be like that).  Thanks for the response though, hope I find something to play so my community can have somewhere good to go.

  • Ok guys, look, I've been in this game 3 years so I've got a lot more room to talk than the first 2 posters here, so excuse me while I put in my 2 cents.

     

    In truth I've had the worst time of my life playing this game. I've stuck with it simply because I had nothing better to play and didn't want to pay for the game. I can give anyone who want's to know why I think it's bad a full 3 years of evidence, screenshots, recordings and proof. Just come on one of my teamspeaks and I'll be happy to explain.

    But for those who prefer to read, here it goes.

    There is a group in this game with close ties to the moderators, in fact many ARE moderators. they lead guilds and get whatever they wish. They hack accounts and kick many ppl out of game simply because they don't think the way they do. This group is known as the BBS, a cute little cover name for the corrupt moderators and hackers of the game. They have a trick with Xfire that allows them to hack your Voyage Century account.

     

    Also this group posted in the developers' forums that they 'owned the server" and were going to "make the game so miserable for other guilds that they would quit the game". (that's a quote from one of the members themselves who changed his name because he was afraid his comrades would hunt him down in real life and hurt him and his family).

     

    Real life violence has already started spreading because of this game. Neighbors have started fighting only to be broken up by police and thrown in jail. People in my guild stopped playing, many crying on the TS and others going bankrupt while others broke up relationships.

     

    That's only a taste of the troubles I've experienced, I've had to start 6 guilds because they keep closing them down. I can go into further detail on TeamSpeak.

     

    Is that the type of experience you want?
