  • SOE has announced that they will begin holding the first tournaments for the Star Wars Galaxies Trading Card Game today.

    Join us this Friday (August 29, 2008) for the first ever Star Wars Galaxies Trading Card Game tournaments! We will be loading up the tournament queues this Friday and would appreciate your help. We'll be giving out rewards to those that place well, and the best part is these tournaments are FREE! Build your best deck from the cards you own and join us for lots of tournament fun!

• • Dark Age of Camelot: Bonuses for the Long Weekend

  • To help kick off the long weekend, the folks at Dark Age of Camelot have announced a series of bonus that will be in effect until Tuesday.

    We've got some extra special bonuses for you to enjoy for the holiday weekend and they have already started, read on:

    The following Zone Bonuses are now live:

    On Classic and Normal Ruleset servers, the following bonuses have been added:

    200% bonus to XP in all classic zones and dungeons.
    200% bonus to BP in all NF zones.
    125% bonus to RP in all NF zones.

    On the PVP ruleset server the following bonuses have been added:

    200% bonus to BP in all classic zones and dungeons.
    200% bonus to BP in all NF zones.
    125% bonus to RP in all classic zones and dungeons.
    125% bonus to RP in all NF zones.

    On the PVE ruleset server the following bonuses have been added:

    200% bonus to XP in all classic zones and dungeons.
    200% bonus to BP in the capital cities.
    125% bonus to RP in the capital cities.

  • Turbine has posted an FAQ which answers common questions about getting in on the beta test for Mines of Moria.

    Who is the Beta limited to?

    The Beta Program is limited to those who complete and submit a Beta application at the Unlock the Mines of Moria site.

    Does this mean I'm guaranteed a spot in the Beta?

    Applying for the Beta Program does not guarantee a spot in the Beta. Qualified applicants will be selected by Turbine to participate in the Beta from those who apply.

    How will I know I've been selected?

    If selected to participate in the Beta Program, you will be notified via email. The email will contain information on how to access the Beta. You will be contacted at the email address on file for your account at the Unlock the Mines of Moria site.

• • EverQuest II: A Look at Guild Halls

  • The folks at EverQuest II have revealed details about Guild Halls and territories.

    Edicts have been issued from both the Throne of Lucan and the counsels of Antonia! In these times of uncertainty both leaders realize they need to garner the support of the powerful guilds in their cities as well as create a barrier of protection for the coastlines. The call has gone out that the previously uninhabited islands that lay just a few hundred yards out to the west of Antonica and east of the Commonlands can now be purchased by qualified guilds and built up into guild hall territories. These new halls will serve the dual purpose as headquarters of the powerful city guilds as well as a line of defense from coastal invasion.

  • The folks at EVE Online have posted a notification that the EVE Store will be unavailable today as they upgrade their service, and brink in their much anticipated Collectible Battleship Models.

    This Friday, August 29th, the EVE Store will be disabled, but don’t worry, within 48 hours after that we will roll out a brand new store* to satisfy all your needs for EVE paraphernalia. The new store will be based in North America and our new carrier will be FedEx, allowing us to offer a reliable shipping service with the ability to track your packages.

    The new store will herald in the arrival of the long-awaited Collectible Battleship Models!

    The EVE Online Battleship Models are constructed from a solid resin foundation and are mounted, ready for display, on a base emblazoned with the associated faction logo.
