I never had a doubt that LA were behind the NGE decision. The SOE Dev's that worked on SWG weren't allowed to use the bathroom without asking for Lucas Art's permission.

I was excited for this game til I read it was going to be mostly Singleplayer, where you are forced to be the Captain and you control your Mastermind Pets as your crew. Sounds to much like the Sims for my tastes.
Oh well, here's to hoping the rumored KotOR MMO doesn't screw things up!

Having done that, we can now move on to what we are going to do over the next couple of months, culminating with the release of patch 1.1 later this Fall.
So basically put, transfers aren't ready yet and are coming this "fall". Even though they mention December. Now I'm not American but last I checked "Fall" was Autumn, not Winter.
This is much like FC's messages that THEIR server merges aren't ready yet. Though FC have yet to confirm or deny the possibility of character transfers.
December is still part of the Fall season. Winter doesn't begin until the end of December (the 21st this year) and only 11 days of the month are considered to actually be Winter. So most of December is still in the Fall season.
Edited to fix the date to the 21st.
