  • the way spellborn is set up, there is no need for an item mall - reguardless, they have stated a million times that there will NOT be a item mall, NOR will the game be F2P.

    the game is being offered as a trial from levels 1-10... which im my opinion is a bold move and a great idea since all you do is DL it and if you dotn like you leave without paying. I think that says alot about their confidence in their product.

    Bottom line is its an automatic free trial up to level 10, then you have to subscribe in order to enter the rest of the world and contiue leveling.

    Stop being nubs and read the frikin articles. take your choice from about a dozen. they all say the same thing...

  • unfortunately i feel the same.  i actually find myself struggeling to feel connection to the world.  imersion for me is feeling the sense of danger, surpise and challenge.  I dont feel these things in WAR.  I find myself playing UT3 more to get my adrenaline fix. 

    unless aion can give me that pvp rush i enjoy, i'll be waiting for Huxley even though we may have humans on Mars before that happens. 

    WAR is is good game for beginers, but as someone who has been playing videogames since the creation of pong, it lacks severely in engaging the thrill factor.  I mean space invaders or pac man can get the heart racing more effectively than WAR. 

    Ahh, then theres Defender, Robotron, Tempest ( was never into Asteroids )... but enough nostalga.

    My point is that simple games can give more excitement and WAR is just dumbed down or watered down... how ever you want to put it.  I really like the way that there are plenty of activities in every corner of the WAR world, but if I really dont care or feel anything about those activities they are wasted content.

    When I distance myself from the product, all I see is a formula of constant rewards for very little effort designed with the intention of filling the time while reaching RVR endgame.

    Oh well... maybe if there were more character customization or more curves and bigger boobies on the female toons I'd like the game more!  Oh and the Dark elf female grunt when jumping is such a turn off lol.

  • omg so what if her speech is good, its not like she wrote it - you guys are just looking for any excuse not to vote for a man of color... and thats the real issue here.  very sad.

     

    and for those casting aspersions: I am not a democrat or republican.  Its foolish to submit to a failed 2 party system; both of which serve big money before little people.  And no im not a commie or socialist either so stop tryign to act like rush limbaugh and lable people in attempts at belittleing their statements.
