    It always seemed that everybody hated the game up until a few months/weeks before its supposed release when at that point the developers release JUST enough information to make everybody stop and think "Hey, maybe this game is actually ready".  This "review" doesnt seem the least bit "shilly" to anybody?  I mean its only complaints, if they could be called complaints, is that the control system and interface system are a little to complex but the author gets over those problems pretty quickly.

    This review just seems totally fishy.  This game has been in development since what, pre-2001 and all of a sudden in the past few weeks the dev team has suddenly got it?  They have had supposed betas, release dates, movies, dev chats, month after month, year after year, all of which promised some kind of great progress and all of which failed to produce squat.  Release dates came and went, time and again.  Beta dates came and went time and again.  Even recent beta dates seemed fishy with proclamations of beta starting yet NOBODY HAS LEAKED ANY INFORMATION except for a few reviews from "official people".  When was the last time this happened.  When was the last time that such a controversial game had a "beta" that admitted actual people but everybody was true to their word on the NDA and didn't leak one bit of information?  I have never, ever seen that happen.

    This seems exactly like what DnL and Mourning did.  They let in a a few "beta testers", released beta "reviews" that were glowing reviews of the game, and then "released" the game, charging people money for it, only to have them log in and the game is a piece of shit with no quests, NPC's, lacking graphics, and only 5% of the promised features.

    Hopefully I am wrong and fans of the game are right, but it just seems like everything that has happened is a repeat of past game releases.

    Damn, dude... don't use brains and common sense to shatter our fantasies...

    I doubt Tasos would say that tbh.  Vaporware is software that fails to emerge, the moment it does it is not and never was vaporware.

    The city of Altantis is thought to be myth. If someone diving off the coast of Egypt discoverd it tomorrow then it is not a myth and never was,  Anyone over the course of several thousand years who said it was a myth was WRONG.  In future when historians looked at pre discovery accounts of the "myth of Alantis" they would say "and this is what people thought before 2009, of course they were WRONG!".

    It's the same situation with vaporware claims.

    Maybe Duke Nukem 3D will be released in 2150. It's not vaporware!
