- How come EQ II doesn't attract more players?
one thing that wow has over many games, is that it runs well on just about any computer. EQII, well not so much. I love the game, but the engine is a real pig.

no game will last forever, but EQ I is still alive and kicking. EQII is not going away anytime soon. Heck, Ultima online is still going. I plan on the RMT server. The population is healthy.
Sure WOW won the numbers game by a large margin, but so what. A sucessful EQII expansion sells like 100,000 copies. This is a tiny fraction of wow.
As an EQII player, I'm ok with that. The game is imperfect, but I like where the game is going and the pace that it is moving.
